Matt Damon playing a 14th century French knight that looks like a third baseman for the Phillies. Mullet. Beard. Smells like horse shit, pine tar, and cigarette smoke.
Matt Damon while playing Odysseus who also looks like a third baseman for the Phillies. Long, skinny beard. Smells like horseshit, pine tar, and perhaps Mediterranean herbs.
Matt Damon playing a 19th century cowboy that looks like a third baseman for the Phillies. Mustache. Shaggy hair. Smells like horse shit, pine tar, and definitely chewing tobacco.
Every time Matt Damon takes on a period role he ends up looking like a third baseman for the Phillies.

Elton John’s label sent him to see the Stooges in an effort to sign Iggy. He went incognito in a gorilla suit. (Yes.)
Iggy, powered by God & the greatest drugs known to man, thought it was a real gorilla, & stopped the show to attack him.
I wish I'd seen this before writing Startup Hell. But then, I don't know if I could have come up with a corporate retreat WORSE than this

She’s appeared all over, but I heard Professor Linda Bilmes talk about the actual costs of the Iran war on Search Engine. However much you think is being spent, you’re well short. www.searchengine.show/the-cost-of-...

Guatemala, Mexico, and Belize are coming together to protect the Great Mayan Forest. These 3 countries reached an agreement to coordinate conservation strategies, including wildlife monitoring, mitigating climate change, combating illegal logging, preventing wildfires, and creating green jobs.
Gotta say, the cover sold this to me long before reading Cory’s thread.
We’re probably starting without a charger. Do you guys have an EV?
For those who missed it: this was the moment The Strokes ensured they’ll never be invited back to Coachella again! I'm so proud of them
I get to write about some pretty unusual medical case reports for @livescience.com, and this one was a doozy. A woman in the UK suddenly started hearing voices urging her to get medical attention for a brain tumor, despite having no symptoms or prior diagnosis. The "voices" turned out to be right 🧪
In brownface, like Peter Sellers in The Party. I'm sure that would go big with the MAGA crowd.
A senior lady in kimono and carrying a parasol walks through a glade in Shinjuku Gyoen during the last flourish of this year's cherry blossom season. She's carrying a stylish bag. Photographed during a break in proceedings on a recent shoot for the Japan government tourism agency. Nikon D800e and Nikkor 500mm f/8.

Good morning. Lovely sunny day here in Tokyo. Out soon to do a location scout for an upcoming shoot. Then back to the office.
Photos from Shinjuku a couple of weeks ago. Me shooting for me, waiting for the next thing to happen on the recent JapanGov tourism shoot.

Probable, not probably. Gah.
Here's my probably answer on that story about the nukes.
This may not be true but there is so much going on with him that shouldn’t be but is.

One of the fathers had to submit DNA evidence to prove his son was a REAL HUMAN BEING after Alex Jones’ book said he never existed.
Prepare for a new assault on bike lanes and rapid transit.
I’ll just let others do the work and post online about it. Which I may do for the new movies as well.
It's a surprise they are so far behind the curve on this, but as Brennan noted to me, "hence the Whyte Review." Curious to see if and when anything changes. www.bbc.com/sport/gymnas...
We regularly see stories about coaches and other people in positions of power over young athletes abusing their positions, and while the majority is certainly to do with sexual assault, there are other problems as well.
It's dry, of course, being an academic paper. But if you're curious about how British Summer Olympic sports look at coach training, it might be interesting. Knocked me out to see how few answered positive for issues regarding safety and criminal record checks.
Not quite a year ago my son Brennan finished his MSc in Sport Coaching Practice at University of Essex in Colchester. His advisor and others worked with him to tighten up his final paper and it's recently been published in an open source peer-reviewed journal. www.researchgate.net/publication/...
I had to rush back to the internet because I cannot stop laughing at this headline.
