All In Texas was a beautiful event. A true portrayal of the art of pro wrestling. Very cleansing to rewatch. A reminder to be grateful an alternative exists so many of us can continue to love this sport. I quit watching in 09 thanks to the wwf. FUCK that company.
The dub brought me back.

Being no. 1 on cable is huge! The network and advertisers don't care about lack of major sports competition. They were no.1 amongst thousands of shows!
That's better than being no. 2-5 up against stronger competition even though they are great rankings too.

The Fed mustβve made some calls because shit the other app went from rather positive vibes for AEW last week, to doom posting and ratings discourse the second dynamite went to air.
And donβt get me started on that fucking agent getting his 5 mins of grift fame All In week. Shameless behaviour.
Yep youβre right I stand corrected. After better research both were announced back in April, both slated for 4hr blocks. I didnβt pick up on Fyter Fest being 4hrs until post DoN. But I remember the announcement for Summer Blockbuster back then.
I feel like Fyter Fest being a 4hr block was a last minute thing. Was only announced as such a few weeks ago. Summer Blockbuster was announced as a 4hour tv special 2 months ago - I feel like next week will have more of a βmini-PPVβ feel as opposed to back-2-back episodes of AEW weekly TV.
AEW dropped the ball only have 13mins of womanβs wrestling in a 4hr block. Iβm hoping they improve this next week for Summer Blockbuster, with 2 good matches already announced. Letβs get a 3rd at least. Something with Willow, Stat. Bring the Athena/Thunder feud onto the main show.

There's really no need to dunk on WWE fans. Wrestling is cyclical. The narrative has flipped and AEW is up, WWE is down. It'll change again at some point. We've normalized having two big national companies. We win. The end.
Not happening
Omg they gave her Timeless lighting and everything
It's funny that the fed stans who hate AEW are going through the exact same process that older wrestling fans went through at some point during the last 25 years and is the thing that created the space for AEW to exist in the first place.
As a fan of the sport, Iβm disappointed too. AEW gave her the platform to grow right in front of eyes, in one of the best AEW stories ever. She knocked it out the park. Tho it feels like there was more accomplish.
In reality, good for her achieving her dream. Wish her well. Life moves on.
Focusing on themselves and ignoring the noise is the best thing AEW has done. Especially when the other guys are doing a fine job shooting themselves in the foot.
Funniest thing is Harleyβs injury in the match was a work π
Oh, that serves as my thoughts on the Mariah May thing going on atm.
All the best to her.
AEW really is becoming a star making machine in the pro wrestling industry huh

Realist shit ever
Man this road to All In is going to be the best pro wrestling TV of all time I feel
Iβm flattered that you think my opinion has the power to influence the state of the pro wrestling business tbh
*just my opinion of course.
I hate the AEW PPVs are too long bullshit. People complain about having to pay $50 (justifiably in this economy) and then complain when the company gives you your moneys worth and then some!
You know how long the PPVs are. You get the dates in advance. Plan your sleep schedule around it and stfu π
No fragile egos.
#AEWAllIn Texas on July 12 has now been counter-programmed twice - first with the announcement of SNME, leading to AEW going for an afternoon bell time for their show.
Now NXT GAB is announced for the same date, and will run before SNME and therefore go head-to-head with All In.
Insane πππ
Double or Nothing was fantastic. AEW is fantastic.
Just the best.
HANGMAN
AEW is the best.
Funniest thing is, shit was a pretape and they still left it in π
