My mom went the extra mile and permed the shroom cut.

Also possibly not the best name choice, since we’ll have a red-headed Rohanne next season?

I wish I had more than one heart to give this.

This was an absolute PRIME day to be watching the Olympics. So. Much. Drama!

I also thought it might have been a wolf until I saw the collar! Adorable.

I cried at the end because I love Baelor so much.

(4/4) (at least for some classes) knights and nobles wouldn't need to worry about such a thing. But while Aerion is a noble, he's not chivalric. He's a brawler, someone who would "cheat" like Bronn did. It's unlikely, but it would be cool if his short hair was meant to be a visual clue. #tkotsk

(3/4) a clue about his character. I don't know whether or not it's historically accurate, but it's mentioned a lot in stories that warriors wear their hair short to prevent enemies from getting a handhold on it while brawling. Clearly in a society like Westeros, where there's a chivalric code,

(2/4) In watching the previews at the end, I'm OBSESSED with the aesthetic of Aerion Brightflame. Couldn't look more like a spoiled, arrogant asshole. I know the short hair is probably just a way to distinguish him from the dozens of other TV Targs, but I was also wondering if it was meant to be

(1/4) (Spoilers in which I discuss the previews for KotSK/Dunk & Egg, as well as some book knowledge.) I'm late to the party (for funeral related reason), but watched the first ep of KotSK last night. Crude and unsubtle opening "joke" aside, it was great! Casting is obviously phenomenal. #dunkandegg

It’s my favorite trilogy of all time. I think Carey is an exquisite writer, but I totally understand the ways the books either bore people or turn them off. I’m sad it didn’t resonate with you, but no reason to spend time reading something you aren’t enjoying!

I think the rise of GLP-1 usage may extend the protein craze for longer than a usual life cycle. Given the huge potential of muscle loss with GLP-1s, I know that people taking them are told to prioritize protein intake to try and avoid a lot of those undesirable side effects.

I just showed Paul the video and he was like “Man, I really hope they can make it to Corn Con this year.“

My heart grew 3 sizes watching this.

I also enjoyed it! I thought it maybe tried to do a little bit too much with the time it had, but all the more reason I would have liked to see a sequel that continued the story. Plus I thought Kit Harington was great and would have liked to see more of him in the Marvel universe.

We had the most delightful time at the tea plantations on the Azores, learning how tea was made there, and the difference each type of leaf makes to the flavor of the tea. And that's just on one island!

I tend to hoard these books and then binge like 4 or 5 at a time, as a special treat. Such an incredibly fun series!

My stepmom was super excited to go to Charlotte until she got there and realized she'd confused Charlotte with Charleston.

I’ll never forget feeling like the world’s biggest dumbass, having tickets for game and being from Chicago and saying “Well they might not play today right, since it’s raining?” No one laughed in my face, but they should have.

I really loved this book (like I've loved all of her books), and the ebook on sale today, in case any of you are looking to add to your TBR pile!

I think this is a good gentle reminder that other people were hurt by this person, and are still in the community currently. Saying as kindly as I can that once more publicly relitigating it may be causing harm that people don’t intend.

I just had this one for the first time recently, and it’s the undeniable GOAT.
