The best trick they all use to set the same price on all packages of a meat with wildly different weights. Most are under weight for the price

The issue with fossil fuels beyond it’s killing the planet and us as well, is that it’s killing the economy too as it’s being supported instead of its long overdue replacement. This is a zero-sum game being played by governments across Canada and elsewhere

Corporations have found a creepy new way to rip you off. It's called "surveillance pricing" and it's coming for all of us at the checkout if we don't stop it.

Add your name and help stop retailers from price-gouging us with the help of Big Tech: ndp.ca/surveillance-pricing

I suggested to the executive director of a very large food bank that shall remain nameless to do a similar thing and was told that’s not what the board wants…as they preferred their ‘help the needy “ personal perspective over what would give their clients dignity instead

Church Sends Easter Message of Resistance to Trump The American Catholic Church is using Easter morning to draw an unprecedented line in the world of politics, faith and individual responsibility.

Trump's war with the Catholic Church has taken a new turn. The head of the US military chaplains has called the war in Iran unjust and is calling on service people to refuse immoral and unjust orders.
This is unprecedented.
My latest.

Indeed. Each experience we get by doing does not always reveal its usefulness immediately. It can be years/decades later that some nugget of learning/understanding from seemingly innocuous experiences becomes important to our growth, judgment, or ability to solve a completely different problem.

They are the most disgusting and annoying ads on TV and the sports programs are the worst. For anyone with a proclivity to gamble it's a constant barrage of temptation and should be made illegal.

In mine I had to solve a statistics problem for a client by creating a 3-D model in Fortran on punched cards...and I survived. Being 21 at the time helped - where else would the energy come from? It was probably the time period when I started to figure out that coding was not I wanted to do!

Cartoon of someone cycling on a narrow pavement on which the council have generously painted a cycle lane logo. They're really spoiling us.

The cyclist is not short of exciting obstacles to navigate, what fun: potholes, brambles, a car parked on the pavement, broken glass, and the pole of a sign that reads

Please use the cycle path

Sorry to say I was way ahead as a comp. Sci tutor in 1976 who had students yelling login to a teletype computer terminal that kept printing ‘Please say login’ every 7 seconds…

Just completed our annual tax return saga…and we had already paid a lot and we still owed on top of that. And that was good…because our taxes fund society.
