If not for Trump, what's the emoluments clause for? What's impeachment for? What's the 25th Amendment for? What's section 3 of the 14th Amendment for? What are checks and balances for?

The baddies are cherrypicking the Constitution the same way they do the bible: for their own benefit.

These guys never learned the story about how the 1918 flu epidemic spread like wildfire through army ranks during ww1 and decimated the ranks.

HEDY LAMARR escaped from her Nazi husband by disguising herself as her own maid, became a Hollywood star, then co-developed a radio guidance system for Allied torpedoes - the principles of which are incorporated into today’s Bluetooth and GPS technology.

Hell of a lady.

Moving the Goalposts: Danielle Smith’s Referendum Narrative Starts to Collapse Under Its Own… There’s a point in politics where delay stops looking like diligence and starts looking like design. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith may…

Nailed it!
“When a Premier claims that delays are caused by a proponent’s inconsistency — and that proponent can demonstrably show otherwise — it doesn’t just undermine the specific argument. It erodes trust in the entire process.”

A screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Magyar Péter (Ne féljetek), with the handle @magyarpeterMP. The post reads:
"Until 31 May, the Orbán puppets may voluntarily step down from their positions. This applies to the President of Hungary, the President of the Curia, the President of the National Office for the Judiciary, the President of the Constitutional Court, and the Prosecutor General.
On 12 April, the Hungarian people voted for a complete political transformation.
If these officials do not step down voluntarily by 31 May, then — on the basis of the mandate received from millions of Hungarians — we will remove them from office."
At the bottom, the timestamp reads "3:04 AM • Apr 21, 2026" alongside "19.9K Views".

Peter Magyar is not playing around at all. He's going to purge every single remnant of corrupt Orbanism. This is exactly how Dems need to be when they retake power.

I thought it needed private, not govt backing? Or was it just NOT federal investment?

If you attend the White House Correspondents Dinner this year, you should be legally barred from using the term "journalist" to describe yourself from that point on.

The first step towards "feeling honored" is to conduct yourself honorably.

The fact that dishonorable men are routinely lauded and rewarded does not change that essential truth, as shown by the most powerful man and the richest man both being profoundly insecure and self-loathing.

John Roberts' wife is not the only Supreme Court spouse to shake down people with business before the court to give bribes. Ginni Thomas has a "consulting firm" (AKA a PO Box for checks) to funnel money to Clarence. #Corruption

One of the most lethal cancers appears to be brought down by mRNA vaccine. This is amazing. After all the covid fear and backlash over this type of vaccine it’s yet again proving how amazing it is.

your google search of what the act says is far from a comprehensive analysis of federal legislation, historically, politically and legally. But I suppose you know better than all the medical, advocacy and labour union

Hey, you can dislike my ‘narrative’ all you want, doesn’t change law. 50 other parties in Alberta, medical and patient advocacy groups, disagree with YOUR narrative that the feds hold no responsibility here. And blaming Feds for THEIR role doesn’t mean no one is giving provinces a break on theirs.

Learn whatever you want about "law," it doesn't matter because GOP Justices blew up the entire process of deciding cases based on chats with rich friends and stuff they watched on TV. That was the entire basis on which SCOTUS switched to the shadow docket.

I have a masters in health systems and have worked in the field for 30 yrs. I’m aware of what the law says and allows. Nothing allows for the federal government to abdicate their responsibilities under the law. They are another level of enforcement that must be utilized.
