I have been trying to help troubleshoot a gaming laptop for a family member
It has re-ignited my absolute hatred of Windows.
I disabled integrated graphics to try to diagnose if maybe games were grabbing that instead of the GPU.
It caused the system to run much worse.

I think it's funny to see someone on Twitter say the trans community is "unstable" online.
They all fled the platform for places like Bluesky and Tumblr to escape the constant harassment.

Just found out the PS1 game The Lost World Jurassic Park has an ending where a video of Jeff Goldblum congratulates the player & tells them to go outside, get fresh air, & talk to a member of the opposite sex.
It is insane to me that videogame players couldn't escape slander within their own medium
I didn't even grow up with a SNES I was young enough to start on PS1 (but too young to know what games were good so I missed all the classics).
Yet I also have a Nintendo lean because of Smash Bros & the Virtual Console on Wii.

After removing my GPU from my PC I have begun playing #Quake II (Nightdive) online because it can handle it well.
Surprisingly vibrant and active online, with players as bad as me regularly playing at night.
I've also been playing on gamepad and enjoying it somehow??? This has been awesome.

Also just for complete accuracy, not ALL my gaming stuff I admit. I have a WiiU with a busted Gamepad that I rarely use, a PS3 I was using last year, a 2DS , PspGo, and Evercade SuperPocket. All collecting dust for now.
Also my integrated graphics can still run a surprising amount.

I am in the process of selling my GPU, but I do plan on having a more capable gaming machine in the future, and Pragmata is on my list.

The reasons for this are varied & complicated.
But one factor was I don't find myself playing games regularly, not even every week. I buy games (affordable ones) and never boot them up. And thinking about playing a bigger game makes me feel anxious and exhausted.

I am sorta in the final stages of shedding all my gaming stuff.
Last year I sold my Xbox and Switch. I sold a Steamdeck I had for less than a year to family.
And now I'm selling my GPU (A750) out of my PC.
Despite this I still plan on playing games.
I just don't need all that.

Giving a pack of Epstein associates a comprehensive list of all children in the country with home address and school listed, sortable by various traits that indicate vulnerability to exploitation, is the literal diametric opposite of keeping kids safe.
I want to clarify that I don't mean right-wing politics are exclusively evil.
I mean when I was a kid rightwing was supposed to just mean level-headed and cautious. And now it means being really cruel and selfish.
We shouldn't give those stances the respect of calling them "rightwing".
This happens because people treat these authoritarian/racist/etc stances with respect when they describe them as "rightwing" as if they are somehow equal to what we describe as leftwing.
They arent simply different
One is evil and cruel, the other is treating people with respect. It's not a debate.
People on the left wanting people to be treated with respect in public, & not have their lives controlled.

People on the right literally closing institutions & firing individuals for talking about basic subjects that have been common for 70 years.

Nobody is being oppressed for their speech in universities. What happens is a professor, who is paid near six figures to deliver a high quality teaching experience, instead comes into class with some unhinged baseless talking points and gets in trouble when reported.
