In Law & Order, there's guaranteed to be at least one foot chase in every episode and it always ends with a gun drawn on the suspect.

Reminds me: the other day our local PBS station was on in the garage, and there was this New Zealand detective show that was kind of entertaining. Something that stood out to me was that not a single firearm or weapon was disengaged in any of the scenes I watched.
I know they're known to be copaganda, but I enjoy shows like the Law & Order and FBI franchises as works of fiction.
I also enjoy being a Freestar Ranger and United Colonies Marine in the game Starfield.

I followed a few really down-to-earth philosophers on Twitter before I left it. Bsky and Fedi too, but they don't post much anymore.
It's really hard to be a *philosopher* on a social media platform where people are mostly there to react rather than think.
I had two sips and decided that was enough.
I ate dinner (sushi) and now I'm kinda drowsy. I want to make coffee but I don't want to mess up my sleep schedule again.
Whatever. I'll just make half a cup.
A super cool feature of Bluesky would be optional Leaflet integration. Something like "Share/send this post to Leaflet".
In the meantime, maybe I can use the APIs to write a Python program that searches for certain tags on my Bsky timeline and sends the posts to Leaflet.
I could also just create my own personal archive of timeless shitposts and serve it from my website. Or something.
Yeah, I think I'll do that.
Oh wait! I think this would be a good way to use leaflet.pub!
But does the auto-deletion apply to comments made on other people's posts?
Reminds me, tho, maybe I should set posts to expire after an amount of time has passed. But, then my timeless shitposts would become timeful.
It would be cool if we could setup auto-deletion as a global setting and then have the option to ignore it on each new post.
Receiving notifications from people favoriting comments I made on posts months ago lol.
I don't really feel like going down those rabbit holes again, but I appreciate the support.
Oh, cool, the invalid handle warning went away.
So I've decided that I don't like using Zed editor. The formatting of a file I was editing got messed up somehow and my inclination was to edit the file in Neovim to get a better "grip" on it.
I think my inclination to revert to Neovim speaks for itself.
Hopefully the "invalid handle" warning will go away soon.

It's funny because when I first heard Sam Coe's voice in Starfield, it reminded me of Kevin Kane, and I went to see if it was, but it's actually Elias Toufexis. They sound alike.
Actor Kevin Kane would make the perfect Sam Coe in a live action #Starfield. His appearance, voice, acting skills, and role familiarity are so on point with Sam Coe that I wouldn't be surprised if Sam Coe's writer's based him off of Kevin Kane. The similarity is uncanny.

In other news, my sleep schedule has been pretty normal for like the past couple weeks. I still wake up in the middle of the night, but I tend to go back to sleep in a couple hours. But mostly I'm awake during locally normal daytime hours. So that's cool.
I've shared ~800 Rust terminal projects over the last 3 years ๐ฆ

Me: Do you think she would bestow upon me the status of Honorary BF?
Rubber duck: Yeah I don't think that's a thing.
Me: [dispirited] Ah, okay.
I'm gonna have a Bosc pear.
My body is sore from this drab weather.
This is what being "against DEI" has always meant.
