I’m DMing you with my work.
You made them? I can’t believe it. I haven’t seen them. Please show me🫣
A glimpse into Albus Levo’s world shaped by ambition, secrecy, and the quiet weight of knowledge. Exploring character depth through visual storytelling, environment, and narrative design. More from this project coming soon.

That’s really compelling, especially the push and pull in each culture. The Mugi example clearly shows how behavior and design come from the same core idea. I like that it feels lived and expressive, with lots of room to explore through posture and small details. If you’re open, we can move to DMs.
Do you already have cultural rules or geography mapped out for each group?
And how much freedom would the artist have in evolving or even reshaping aspects of these concepts during exploration?
If you’re open, I’d love to see early mood work and how you like to collaborate.
Thank You!

I also appreciate the reference points like FFTA / FFXII / Bravely Default and the emphasis on draftsmanship and muted palettes. That immediately helps ground the tone.
I’d be curious to know how far along the worldbuilding is beyond the six kinds. For example:

The idea that each “kind” is essentially a civilization wide psychological response is especially strong. It gives a clear reason for form, silhouette, movement, and even costume language to differ which is exactly where concept art can really shine.

I’ve read through this carefully and I really like the direction you’re taking with Veil & Venture. It feels like a world where the visuals are carrying emotional weight, not just aesthetics, which makes it much more interesting than a typical fantasy project.

Wow!
The idea of a more raw, unpolished art style actually sounds really refreshing. Are you aiming for a specific mood or visual direction for the concept art?
Just wanted to ask, would you be using it for marketing your book, or is it for some other personal project?

Hey, I actually work in 80s/90s style art. Honestly, I really enjoy bringing those old-school aesthetics back to life, it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about. And yes, my terms include allowing usage of the artwork anywhere you need.

You can also take a look at my work if you want. I’m comfortable working across most art styles, and I can even create things without reference, so there’s usually no issue from my side.

Hey, this looks like a really interesting project. I can already picture it in my head. Could you tell me what the deadline for this project is? Right now I’m working on a few similar projects too, so I just want to plan my time properly.

I do this kind of work. Could you please tell me what style you’d prefer anime, cartoon, or realistic so I can show you examples of my work that match your preference?
I work in all of these art styles and would be happy to share my portfolio accordingly. Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you!

This project sounds incredible dark fantasy creatures and rich autumnal environments are exactly the kind of work I love doing. I’d be very interested in being considered for this. Are you working from a defined visual direction, or open to exploring styles with the artists?

If my work aligns with what you’re after, I’d love to collaborate. Hope to hear from you soon!
Thank You!

Could you share a bit more about the visual direction style references, level of detail and how BG artists collaborate within your pipeline? I’d love to understand how I can best fit your workflow.
Thank You.

Hi! I’m a background & pixel artist with 4+ years of experience, focused on expressive, stylized environments and strong visual storytelling. I’ve worked on detailed scene design and would love to contribute to a production like this.

A mage shaped by knowledge, ambition, and something darker beneath the surface.
This project explores character design, visual development, and worldbuilding elements around him.

Hey! Thanks for the recommendation
What caught my attention most is the idea of a long-term evolving project those are usually the ones where the best art direction really develops over time.
I wanted to ask:
Are you currently leaning more toward exploration-focused environments, or more structured mission-based level design?
2/2
Hey! I work a lot with sci-fi environments, and space-themed aesthetics are something I genuinely enjoy exploring. I’ve recently created a few environment pieces that align closely with this kind of vibe here’s my portfolio: www.artstation.com/artwork/oJJbx4

I love this 😭 I’m a D&D artist too and would love to draw her! Is she male or female, and what inspired the character?
These are my D&D samples, and you can also check the rest on my profile.
Hey! This sounds really interesting. Is this a paid collaboration or a passion portfolio project? I’d love to know more and see if I could be a fit.
