Montenegro jury placed Albania 2nd and France’s ranked Albania 1st.
No other juries had Zjerm in their Top 5.
Only 10 juries even gave Zjerm points. A deeply disappointing result for the contest.

I will say, Tommy Cash came off much more charming in the final. The disparity between his 5th place finish in his semi and his 2nd place finish in the final televote actually checks out to me given this + the expectation of him having greater popularity with general audience vs fandom.

And on top of that, Italy gave Estonia 17 points (10 from jury and 7 from public) and Estonia gave Italy 11 points (7 from public and 4 from jury).
Perhaps Espresso Macchiato truly was the perfect song to capture this moment 😂.
2025 sees a new record set for most songs to receive over 150 points, with 15!

Televoters were not fans of the songs that put the 69 in the 69th Eurovision.
Ich Komme came 9th in the televote with just 108 points.
Serving (i.e the censored version of Kant) came 23rd with only 8 points.
Milkshake Man came 11th in the semi (hard….luck) with just 41 points.

Only 3 songs received more than 100 points from both the jury (J) and the televote (T):

Meanwhile, this was true for just 14 of the 26 songs to make the final.
That’s 90.9% for the semis and just 53.8% for the finalists.
My prediction: both these percentages will be lower in 2025.

In #ESC, we consistently see that the top televote finishers get more collective points than the top jury scorers do. Yet, with #JESC, because of the way online votes are cast, we see the JESC jury actually has more power by virtue of a higher points ceiling and a lower floor.
