Sniffies down :(

So much art that I get engaged with in my 20s that made me feel sympathy and righteous anger has motifs that are a part of my reality and now I’m reflecting on the stories I read or watched and feeling hopeless
I saw this doc 17 (18?) years ago. It’s about rape, of course, but it’s also about how broken societies can warp young men’s brains, and it feels sickly relevant now
Pride 2011, I was brown out wasted and was going to go home with this guy I was making out with, but my lesbian friend told me I was waaaaay too drunk and I should just go home when I told her, "He's hot right? He told me he looks like Matt Damon." Like, was it Swalwell? Idk.
I clicked on dnc resolution in trending and I can't tell who is pro AIPAC and who isn't. So let me clarify: AIPAC is bad. Religious ethnostates are bad, and Israel, a young religious ethnostate, is committing atrocious horrors and genocide. Bad.
*Calling out AIPAC and genocide =/= antisemitism.*
Well, when opportunity knocks
it's 100% right and yet means absolutely nothing and will lead to absolutely nothing happening despite its rightness, which is the hell we have to live in
When I was younger we used to joke about "paper bag fucks" like people you'd fuck with a paper bag over their head because their face is busted, and I don't want to be insensitive to a whole fet community but is that what's going on with pups?
Every time I see a picture of Melania I think it's Caitlyn Jenner.
I had my physical today and I was kinda shocked that I was 10 lbs lighter than I was at the start of the year. I double checked when I got home (naked of course, to make it even lighter) and I'm the lightest I've been in years at 223 lbs.
And I'm tired of podcast hosts who tell the same stories over and over. I begrudgingly sit through my spouse telling a story I've already heard ten times. I don't need to hear a "comedian" talk about taking a burrito into a movie theater for the fifteenth time before cutting to an ad for mattresses.
I've dropped plenty of podcasts for this. I dropped a news podcasts because they kept saying, "if you're fans of the show" or "if you're fans of us"--no. Disgusting. Fandom is not the right word for our relationship. You're a news source, at best. Background noise, generally.
Laziness seems to be a plague in modern-day podcasting. Too many people view it as punditry instead of editorial. "Just talking" doesn't work--it puts the focus on host personality instead of expertise, then shifts the listener to a parasocial relationship that the hosts have established.
Tried to listen to the Big Pic's 35 under 35 ep but gave up. I don't care about who did or didn't make the list, but I'm bothered by reasoning that feels arbitrary, thoughtless, and unresearched. It was *lazy* podcasting.
a gift and a curse
Is he learning to drive again?

update: I had the edible, I played tetris for hours, I got chipotle, and I maybe tidied up a small portion of one room
I can't be the only person who thinks "is that a nonbinary Harry Potter?" every time someone posts a picture from this fucking show. Are they trolling her? That kid looks like a lesbian grad student.
I thought I wouldn't but now that you bring it up...
My questions for MrBeast:
1. What are you, some kinda virgin?
He wrote that 2 years ago when he was 25, so he thought he has to be 40, lol.
Ask all the questions you want, you'll only get dumb answers
I still sometimes diagram sentences in my head to this day
A strange coincidence! But I love Green Earth! It's a nice dispensary! Not like the shithole 2 blocks down from it that has a masked man with an AK 47 at the door and the guy behind the counter yells at you if you want anything under 15mg, so Green Earth with their chill-bro vibes and variety? 💯
Just got a text from my local dispensary telling me they're having a sale. Green Earth on York, you reading my bsky posts?
Having one of those days where I might take an edible and clean my house for 8 hours
