And while I love the ds, I will always return to my 3ds whenever I want to play a DS game. My XL remains in excellent shape, while affording a much nicer screen and all the same nostalgia.
I never owned a VB, but I have learned a lot about it and think it's got a cool story, same with G&W.
GBA gets my love on the handhelds since it's everything it's predecessors were and better. Specifically the SP since it had backlight so you could finally see your games. Slim, less clunky, and backwards compatible. Nothing to not love.
If you ask me, the art direction of SWSH was perfect. All it needs is improved rendering distance and higher res textures, but not more realistic.
That said, switch online library, and the game line up for Switch 2 is something I'm VERY excited for. I love Pokemon ZA. Now give me FE Fortunes Weave.
As someone who happily goes back to N64/GC games frequently, I can't say graphics are my primary concern when it comes to Nintendo games. I'm here for the stories and the worlds. I don't want us to try and have realistic looking pokemon, that's not the style of pokemon.
The switch was good, the OLED was for sure the best option for owning a switch. I think it was a great stepping stone towards what would eventually become the switch 2. Do we have nicer graphics now? Yeaaahh.... At the expense of lowered battery life.
I liked the Wii U! Still treasure mine to this day. I started training to play competitive smash bros during my time in Smash Wii U. Eternally disappointed in the catalogue but it was a more enjoyable console experience than the Wii while having backwards compatibility and took over my Wii.
The Wii was good, and although I enjoyed swinging my sword at enemies, I really wished I had the GC Twilight princess over the motion controls. Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn was my beginning love of FE and remains my favourite FE game ever and I hope becomes more accessible for others to play too soon.
GC has renditions of games that still have yet to be beat. Double Dash remains the most interesting and fun multi-player co-op MK game out there, and the most accessible to play with newbies imo.
No NES games ever really hooked me, but SNES was definitely a step up.
N64 has some of my favourite games, especially Pokemon stadium and the ability to play GB games at double speed! I play N64 Mario golf more than any other golf game still.

Can't say I don't work hard in the booth because my whole upper body feels like I did an entire gym workout yesterday.
Having to record lines yelling about being hungry while I've basically lived on soup, smoothies, and mashed potatoes for 2 months is the most raw performance you will ever get from me.

Fun fact: I actually came up with the Compass team, wrote most of the story involving them (before it was refined by TNM and his team,) and am especially proud of Panzy's big moment with Tea!
Also, got to use my deep villain voice! Been enjoying playing Gomah in this.
