We also only had about 30 seconds of totality so I didn't bother with the camera during that portion so I could actually enjoy it.

Someday I'll get a proper setup for solar shots (and astral photography in general) but we're a bit pinched for storage space here.

Throwback to the 2024 eclipse and the set of photos I managed to get. Shot with a 300mm lens (biggest one I have at the moment) and a cheap filter I had to hold over the lens by hand which was sure something with the DSLR and shaky hands when I didn't get out the tripod. LOL

In spite of grief so heavy that I am acutely aware he is not here anymore, every time I sit down I still check for the cat to make sure I don't sit on him by accident. x.x
