I’m OK (truly, really). I didn’t; I won’t; I don’t think I ever would. But for people you know who may be really set adrift by everything that’s going on right now, who might be feeling angry at themselves for not Doing More, who might be held powerless because of who they are… maybe check in.

I dreamed about self-harm last night. I didn’t even remember right away, but when I did, it was sobering. I didn’t actually do it in the dream, but just the thought of it – of that simple, clean sense of focus - was such a relief.
