We went to bed at halftime thinking Duke was going to win. This is a nice thing to wake up to!!

Will miss him very very much, and if there is any justice in this world we’ll get to see one more tournament with RJ

This year, his last, RJ has stepped up and we see him talking in the huddles and playing the point when (too often) Cadeau is in foul trouble or is in a funk.

When he finds his spot, he’s deadly from 3. And he breaks people’s ankles with the step back.

He seems like he’s having a lot of fun

The game late in that season hosting Miami - RJ scored 42 points (smith center record)

Armando’s last attempt in his last home game was a made 3 pointer (only like the 2nd or 3rd 3 pointer he’d attempted all year)

The Carolina team in 23-24 found its way— RJ shooting the lights out, and Cormac Ryan and Harrison Ingram having huge nights in the Duke matchups. So much heart from Ingram (remember Filipowski fucking tripped him??)

The wilderness of the 23 season, missing the tournament, Caleb leaving for Zona.

On the night i proposed to Priya, Caleb Love was beating Duke in Cameron in an Arizona Jersey, with Tar Heel 4L sharpied on his shoe.

So many memories- 2022 beating Duke on coach Ks last game in Cameron, and then that bubble team with Bacot, Love, Black, and Manek turning into the iron 5 and beating Duke again in NOLA in the final 4. Caleb’s shot.

I love RJ Davis and it’s sad to think that tonight is his last game in the smith center. Forever a Tar Heel, and one of the greats.

Need someone outside of NY to take my action on UNC / Syracuse (because though sports betting is legal in NY, you can’t bet on games w NY college teams [maybe only when they’re played in state])
