I just had a little visitor in my backyard. Not sure what it is but, like everything else in Australia, it probably wanted to kill me.

While US representatives try to the best of their limited abilities to negotiate peace with Iran, Trump, who wasn't invited to the peace talks, sits in his office hurling abuse, insults & threats, & generally undermining his own team. The man should be locked in a padded cell until talks are over.

When Trump talks to other countries, including Iran, the media report that he is demanding a deal, usually one that benefits him personally and discounts the other party. When Trump is not involved in the talks, it becomes a negotiation that is meant to benefit both sides.
I'm not a real big fan of the churches, but I'm backing The Pope in this argument. I'm also betting he knows more about the Bible than the entire Trump administration combined.
Implement a 25% export tax on gas exports from Australia. Gas is a national asset that belongs to all Australians, not just the corporations that extract it. A 25% Export Tax would raise about $17 billion a year. Please sign the petition and share. www.change.org/tax-gas-expo...

We had to cut our holiday to Vietnam short because of injury & floods, resulting from the negligience of the tour operator, VNHolidays. Presumably to avoid liability, VNHolidays then misrepresented the cost of our losses, resulting in a travel insurance payout of just $50. We have contacted lawyers.
Still waiting to hear fom Angus with a "g" what "Australian values" are. I hope to hell they are not the same as Liberal values, or most of the country will be under investigation, like in Trump's America.
Are your feelings hurt because Donald Trump is unhappy with Australia?
Hey Angus Taylor. If you really believe in promoting Australian values, how about signing the petition to deny Eric Trump a visa? Please sign and share. www.change.org/refuse-visa-...
Happy heavenly birthday to my dear old mum. She would have been 99 today.
It seems to be part of the morning ritual these days to check news and social media to see whether Trump is dead yet, or what new shitfuckery he has come up with overnight.
Petition: Refuse Eric Trump a visa to visit Australia. The Trump Organisation does not align with Australian values, nor does Eric Trump. Please sign the petition and share. www.change.org/refuse-visa-...
Nothing suspicious about the fire at the Geelong oil refinery. They've been wanting to close it anyway, and the oil companies will have a reason to put the prices up yet again.
Urge Home Affairs to refuse Eric Trump a visa to visit Australia. The Trump Organisation does not align with Australian values, nor does Eric Trump. Please sign the petition and share. www.change.org/refuse-visa-...
I really can't comprehend why Trump is attacking the Pope. Trump and the Catholic Church both have the same main priority - covering up sex scandals.
The Liberals under Angus with a "g" have really lost the plot. They want to cancel visas of people without undefined "Australian values," and also refuse entry to Australia based on undefined "social media content" going back five years. We don't need a Trump-style dictatorship in Australia.
I sent an email to my local Queensland state member of parliament, Steve Minnikin (LNP) asking him to refer a matter to the relevant minister, as is the normal protocol. His staff member point blank refused in a phone call. The LNP clearly don't care about their consituents, just their donors.
The LNP plan to cancel visas based on as yet undefined "Australian values", which is a way of saying "anybody not of European descent." They want to take us back to the abhorrent "White Australia Policy." Vote for the LNP if you want Trump-style turmoil in Australia.

Trump doesn't make deals in the usual sense of the word: he makes threats of harm if the other party doesn't give him, 100%, what he personally wants. There is no win-win situation possible: it is win-lose in favour of Trump. He can now do this with the full might of the US military.
So without any plan, my wife and I decided to have lunch at the Turkish restaurant in South Bank. Bloody good meal, followed by a few amber ales.
The thing about Trump is that instead of trying to negotiate agreements that benefit both sides, he treats everything as a business deal that has to benefit him personally. If it doesn't benefit him, he walks away and leaves others to clean up the mess. This is not how international diplomacy works.

Melania Trump has stated that she met her husband Donald at a New York party in 1998, and they began dating. What she didn't say is that he was actually married to Marla Maples at the time they met.
My psychiatrist once asked me how I viewed myself as a person. I pointed to the empty chair next to me, and told him: "I'm his invisible friend." I got my medical discharge.
