The National. Greens pledge trade union roles on boards of companies. All companies that receive public funding should have trade union representatives on their boards, the Scottish Greens have said.
Trade unions have been the single most important force for improving the pay and conditions of workers, and for forcing an end to some of the worst employment practices.
We would ensure every major contract and penny of public money goes towards boosting workers rights.
Green campaigners gathered at the anti-racism march in the sunshine, at Kenmure Street.
Thanks to the @scottishgreens.org members who joined us at the Glasgow Southside anti-racism march.

Scottish Greens will always stand against the far right to ensure Scotland remains an open, welcoming country. π
Social media has made things worse for so many women and girls, with so much of this harassment online, making those platforms increasingly hostile places.
This bill must be part of a bigger institutional and cultural change that we need to see across society.
See you in Glasgow! πππ½
Violence against women and girls is a national emergency that we all must commit to urgently tackling.
This legislation would be accompanied by funding for violence prevention services in local councils, schools, and community organisations to help end gender-based violence for good.
A new bill aimed at tackling misogynistic harassment and abuse will be tabled by the Scottish Greens in the next session of parliament, they have pledged

The @scottishgreens.org will make bus travel free for all.
We made bus travel free for under 22s, resulting in millions of journeys across the city. Next, we'd immediately extend it to under 30s and cap fares at Β£2 whilst progressing work to make it free for all.
On May 7th, let's demand better.

Keir Starmer stands in front of a fire exit with the word 'resign' above it.
Keir Starmer gave clear assurances to the public and Parliament about Peter Mandelson, which we now know were untrue.
He cannot simply issue an excuse and carry on. Labour MPs must stop defending the indefensible, and Keir Starmer must go.
Sharing this again, as the first postal votes are dropping through letterboxes.

It's time to bring Scotland's buses back under public control. π
Too many women and families are being let down by a maternity system that is under enormous strain while midwives are being asked to do more and more in overstretched services.
That is not fair on them or on the people relying on their care.

Scottish Greens will deliver free flexible childcare for all children aged 6 months to 2 years. Let's demand better. On May 7th vote Scottish Greens.
We shouldn't have to cut our working hours or cut back on essentials to make ends meet.
By expanding childcare we can save families Β£10,000 per child.
We're pledging:
π’570 hours of funded childcare for every child from 6 months to 2 years
π’1140 hours for all 2 year olds
All across the UK, Greens are working to bring hope back to politics.
With just 3 weeks until the election, the leader of the Green Party of Northern Ireland Mal OβHara joined us to campaign on our shared vision for a fairer, greener future. π

The National. Greens peldge to bring Scotland's buses under publiccontrols.
Four decades of privatised bus services have left us paying more and getting less, with companies putting profit before people.
It's time to bring our bus network back under public ownership.
Scotland is an outlier compared to most other developed nations.
Raising the school starting age to 7 and introducing a play-based kindergarten stage for 3 to 6 year olds would help boost education and child wellbeing outcomes.

Side by side comments from the STUC website STUC REACTION TO SCOTTISH GREENS MANIFESTO April 14, 2026: The Scottish Greens manifesto for the Scottish Parliament elections "lays a marker down" for other parties to follow, says STUC General Secretary Roz Foyer STUC REACTION TO SCOTTISH LABOUR MANIFESTO April 14, 2026: Scottish Labour's manifesto cannot follow Reform trodden lines about cutting quangos whilst promising to protect public services, says STUC leader Roz Foyer
The STUC are politically independent, and quite rightly have questions and challenges for all parties.
But their headline reactions to the manifestos are telling. I'm proud to be standing on a manifesto that commits to protecting public services and workers' rights.
