The National. Greens pledge trade union roles on boards of companies. All companies that receive public funding should have trade union representatives on their boards, the Scottish Greens have said.
Trade unions have been the single most important force for improving the pay and conditions of workers, and for forcing an end to some of the worst employment practices.
We would ensure every major contract and penny of public money goes towards boosting workers rights.

Violence against women and girls is a national emergency that we all must commit to urgently tackling.

We made bus travel free for under 22s, resulting in millions of journeys across the city. Next, we'd immediately extend it to under 30s and cap fares at £2 whilst progressing work to make it free for all.

Scotland is an outlier compared to most other developed nations.
Raising the school starting age to 7 and introducing a play-based kindergarten stage for 3 to 6 year olds would help boost education and child wellbeing outcomes.
