What is Infectious Disease Dynamics? Infectious disease dynamics is the study of how infectious diseases in humans, animals, or plants spread and evolve over time and how they can be controlled. It combines principles from many disciplines, including but not limited to epidemiology, ecology, mathematics, statistics, computing, biology, medicine, and social sciences. The field is global, interdisciplinary, and essentially both theoretical and applied.
