At the ABS Annual Conference 2026, Astrid Fellner (@uni-saarland.de) traced a conceptual shift from borderlands to bordertextures, proposing as a decolonial, pedagogical practice inspired by Gloria Anzaldúa that foregrounds relationality, affect, and embodied ways of knowing the border. #UniGR_CBS

At #ABS2026, #UniGR_CBS member Svitlana Kot introduced the concept of Border Rifts to examine how border reconfigurations leave lasting fractures in memory, identity, and cultural representation.
