As for ridiculing them, they are supposed progressive people. Are they any better than anyone else who held out if they didn’t get 100% of what they wanted or they take their toys and go home. There were several groups who did that in 2024 and collectively fucked us.

Many of them simply don’t have the maturity to understand imperfection and nuance. You can’t get thru to people looking to jump down your throat. And the sad thing is I’m not far politically from them. But until their attitude changes you can’t do much and get them to listen.

Honestly I don’t know what the right answer is. I’ve tried engaging with them and they are looking for anything so they can come down on me. I’ve made up my mind to basically cut off Trump supporters and these people aren’t far behind. I’m willing to admit Biden’s or Harris’ flaws.

But any mention of how I wish Biden or Harris would have done more to stop Israel is met with “See! They are baby killers and genocide kings/queens” where I honestly believe a vote for Kamala was in both the best interests of the world and best electable choice for Gaza.

And I’ll leave it at I think Israel is doing everything it can to break international law and kill people it seems fit to achieve their goals. And it’s dead wrong and there was at least a chance for the US to do the right thing under a Democrat not a “finish the job” Republican.

People had to choose who was better and the same attitude of not voting, protest voting and third party voting is exactly the same with many of them today as it was in 2024. It’s exasperating. Better to chase other people who are persuadable than people who call me a genocide enabler.

However the response has been from them along the lines of that those of us who voted for Kamala are still genocide enablers and that this was a completely black and white issue. What Israel is going to Gaza and Lebanon is black and white, but the election wasn’t black and white.

So I think this has gotten inflamed lately because Trump threatened exactly what people were accusing Kamala of doing and it hurts because so much of the rhetoric was “it doesn’t matter which of them was elected”. And of course, it did.

Men need to create an environment and help shape society so that women are safe and if something happens women have what they need.

I read the CNN story, it’s multiple women who have corroborating evidence and are credible. I don’t think is a smear campaign especially with things coming out now about it being an open secret, which honestly begs the question, regardless of which party, who knew and when did they know it?

It’s incredibly hard to be a woman and stand up to a powerful man, let alone a congressman. I’ve read the CNN story, these women are credible have corroborating evidence and went thru a challenging and confusing situation. Many times they simply can’t speak up without losing everything.
