Many reports & details have been released about sexual abuse of Palestinians by Israeli forces, & those reports have increased in frequency. This suggests to me the scale of the abuse is massive; we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg.

“Israeli officials are effectively green-lighting the use of sexual violence, when they decide not to prosecute the most high-profile case, which is extremely well documented. There is a culture of accepting sexualised assault against Palestinians.”
Amal Khalil is a respected and well-known journalist here. During the last war on Lebanon in 2024, she received direct threats from an Israeli phone number on WhatsApp, telling her to cease her reporting.
They encouraged her to leave the country if she wanted her “head to remain on her shoulders”.

Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was killed today in a targeted Israeli strike. The IDF fired live rounds and stun grenades at the Red Cross ambulances trying to reach her. She is the 4th journalist killed by Israel while in the field since 2 March.

Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was targeted and killed today by the IOF. She was pursued with a number of raids that first struck her car, and then the house that she had sought refuge in. Afterwards the Israelis fired at ambulances trying to reach her, delaying her rescue until it was too late.
Interview with martyred Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil talking about her life and work. Published 14 Jan. 2026.
A beautiful story starting her birth in 1984 in Baysariyyeh. As a teen, she was always a writer and loved poetry.
"Poetry softened me; it refined my sense of the world and how I write."

Rescue teams managed to pull injured correspondent Zeinab Faraj from Tayri. However, al-Akhbar correspondent Amal Khalil remains trapped in the town. The two correspondents were covering an Israeli strike on a car in Tayri, which killed its two occupants, Mukhtar Ali Bazzi and Mohammad al-Hourani. The Israeli force then struck the site again, injuring the journalists. A third strike then targeted the main road connecting Tayri and Hadatha to cut access to ambulances and trap the two journalists. When the Red Cross arrived, they recovered the two bodies and rescued Faraj, before the Israeli army dropped a stun grenade on them, forcing them to withdraw without reaching Khalil. They returned to Tebnine Governmental Hospital with no further information about her condition. The Union of Journalists has appealed to relevant authorities to take immediate action to secure her evacuation, while the Ministry of Information condemned the attack and held Israel responsible for her safety.

Occupation forces still besieging reporter Amal Khalil
Two Lebanese journalists were trapped by the IDF in South Lebanon.
One of them, Amal Khalil, is still trapped.
Israel did a triple tap strike. Again. The second strike injured the journalists. The third strike trapped them.
Despite a 10-day ceasefire declared in Lebanon last Thurs and a promise by Trump that Israel would stop its strikes, Israel has continued its violations. Today it targeted two journalists and obstructed Red Cross access to them, leading to the killing of one of them, Amal Khalil.
The male response to my article calling out male violence against women is to threaten violence against me.
If these weak-minded & insecure men think their threats intimidate me into silence—let me disabuse them of that notion. It won't. Ever.

Hasta luego, Maricarmen.
"Iran’s Forensic Medicine Department reports the martyrdom of 3,375 Iranian citizens in U.S.-Zionist aggression.
- 2,875 men.
- 496 women.
- 40% of bodies were so shattered, only were identified by DNA tests.
- majority of martyrs are from Tehran, Hormuzgan and Isfahan provinces."
The Justice Dept’s theory of the case— that the group that single-handedly disassembled the Ku Klux Klan defrauded its donors by concealing that it was using paid informant to do that work and more— has about as much merit as the now-dismissed charges against Jim Comey.
The second report of torture came two weeks later. On April 3rd, 20 more Ecuadorian fishermen aboard the Don Maca were intercepted by El Salvador’s coast guard.
Arriving with vision and hearing loss, bruised limbs, and perforated arms, they reported a strikingly similar account of an alleged attack by U.S. soldiers: a bombarded boat, a round of bullets, and no due process.
This time, the men charged that they had been held hostage & hooded for eight days.

Never forget esto.
