A very good idea that other European countries should follow. Should we develop an EU Linux? I don’t know, but the key is to bring data control back to Europe from U.S. multinationals. As a bonus: Linux offers better security.

The Pope has followers worldwide, including in the U.S. I’m an atheist, but I respect others’ beliefs. An attack on the Pope is an attack not only on Catholics, but on anyone for whom faith matters, whatever that faith may be.

I’m an atheist, and still: the Pope is cool, tRump sucks.

That’s great, congrats! šŸ¾šŸ„³ Based on your profile, you write exactly the kind of stuff I’m into. Your book probably won’t be translated into my language here in this small northern country, so where can I get it? A print copy would be best, since English isn’t my first language.

Great to see Europe and especially Hungary move past wannabe dictator Orban. Now let’s hope Tisza sets a clear course toward the EU and prosperity, and distances Hungary from Putin’s Russia by showing solidarity with Ukraine’s fight for freedom.

Why are the biggest assholes always old men? You’re making the rest of us older guys look bad. Women, do something, at least try to be as much assholes as menšŸ˜‚

What on earth is happening? I’m a die-hard atheist, yet I’m ready for a mass or something, as long as it honors the Pope.

This may seem minor in the west, but Ukraine’s ongoing strikes on Russia’s arms industry will seriously impact its ability to continue the war. It looks like Ukraine may quietly end up on the winning side. Slava Ukraini!šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¦

I may be repeating myself, and will keep doing so. I’m an atheist, but the Pope is reasonable, humane, and a cool guy. And tRump,
well, everyone can see and knows.

Warm congratulations to Hungarians on an excellent election result. Welcome back toward freedom. But remember: ā€œThis is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.ā€ Democracy requires constant care and vigilance against new autocrats.

tRump is used to using shady tactics against opponents. That may work in business, but politics, especially global politics, is different. Something he may be slowly realizing, if he still can in his dementia.

Very good analysis. The U.S. is tearing itself apart from within. I don’t expect a civil war, but it will be a declining global power, not in a year or two, but over the coming decades. Everything has its time. tRump is just a product of his society.

Not surprising. tRump cares only about himself, with no grasp of reality—yet loyal MAGA supporters still swear by him.

Hungary’s election result will signal whether the world is sliding toward a fascist dystopia, or if democracy, human rights, and freedom can still prevail. A defeat for OrbĆ”n would be a win for humanity.

A cat’s life can be tough, especially when its human loves it so much they post photos online. Still, I’m sure pets and food are coming soon🐱

The U.S. can bomb and devastate Iran, but in negotiations Iran has the edge. Its negotiators are skilled, while tRump sends unqualified loyalists who lack a real understanding of the culture they’re dealing with. Talks like this require time and a willingness to compromise.

No big surprise. Nothing Putin’s ruzzia offers or promises can be trusted. Truly, nothing!

Another question scholars will debate for centuries is: how did this motherfucker become president?

I don’t deny the U.S. has top-tier military tech. The issue is reliability. Europe could diversify procurement across multiple countries, preferably within Europe, so one nation’s political shifts don’t impact defense as much.

I wouldn’t say the whole world hates America — only tRump’s America. That said, tRump has done massive damage to U.S. credibility and soft power globally, likely for decades. Free lunch for China. One positive: Europe has woken up to strengthen its own defense without relying on the U.S.

I truly hope Viktor OrbĆ”n’s era ends and Hungary turns toward the West, prosperity, and freedom. What I don’t understand is why the country has drifted back into Russia’s sphere. Have the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and tanks in Budapest been forgotten? I’ve seen people lay flowers for the victims.

Even as an atheist, I have to admit the Pope is pretty cool and he has the upper hand. If tRump throws another tantrum, as he likely will, what can he even do? Put a 1000% tariff on the word of God? Bomb the Vatican? Few listen to tRump, but many listen to the Pope.

I believe tRump’s time is coming to an end. Even his own supporters are starting to step away from the bandwagon. A more sensible administration may follow, but his era has caused serious damage to US influence. It’s time to unite Europe and build a common defense.

This has to be a joke or some tin-foil-hat stuff. The Pentagon threatening the Vatican with war, no one can be that crazy.

In my country, after the war there was little but poverty, so care for veterans was what it was. That can’t be changed anymore, but I find it beautiful and respectful that on Christmas Eve there is an honor guard at the war graves, for independence and freedom.

It’s amazing how the world is shifting to renewable energy. It’s especially striking when even politicians who once resisted change join the green transition. It’s a pity that in the US the ā€œdrill, baby, drillā€ mindset still lingers. China may soon overtake from both sides.

Making money has always been a problem for humanity. It has even led to slavery, sometimes justified with Bible verses. So why not make money off maga fools by selling them ā€œmaga scent,ā€ whatever that may be.
