Not only is that true but I felt the ending tied everything up nicely. It felt like everything in the story was leading up to that moment. Both satisfying and a bittersweet illustration of growing up. A twisted but sad coming of age story.

That's what you get for making me care about the characters lol.

"...And Out Come The Toys" by @brandenburgdm.bsky.social is absolutely brutal. There are a few visceral scenes in there that legitimately made me feel queasy while also getting emotionally gut punched.

It was an absolute delight to read and I look forward to my toy induced nightmares.

I started it and I'm already digging the narrative tone. I also appreciate how it tackles tough topics which is a core strength of the horror genre.
