I’m toying with the idea of recording a Resident Evil: Requiem playthrough. Might be a fun diversion to record and edit a video seeing as I want to play the game anyway. Give some insights from a game design perspective (look, I’m finally using my degree!) and maybe even from a screenwriter’s?

The composer - rumored not to be Akira Yamaoka, but musician @pilotpriest.bsky.social - took the base ostinato from 'Promise (Reprise)', dropped it an octave lower, and used the first three notes to turn it into a haunting, beautifully melancholic, warbled waltz (from 4/4 to a 3/4).
