While I deeply appreciate the support from everyone I wanted to let you know that I have had a couple offers regarding covering expenses for a celebration of life. I have absolutely no plans yet on that but I will try to keep everyone updated. There’s not a need to donate to the gofundme. But I want everyone to remember the joy and love Jonathan has brought and will continue to bring forever. I have my essentials covered and our family in San Antonio is taking care of me until I get back to South Carolina. Instead of donating Jonathan and I would both rather you spread the word about the consistent injustice done to him, to us, and to our dogs. We had so many beautiful plans for the future.

My parents are on disability and I am a student unable to work without making us ineligible for our current health insurance plan, so I'm asking for your help. Truly, anything will be of aid. They have since abruptly gone back on this promise, citing the condition of the house following a fire in 2022 that we don't have the money to renovate, due to the insurance money going to overdue bills. My parents are unable to pay for this house completely by themselves and I am a full-time student who is unable to work because of the impact it would have on our health insurance, which we desperately need due to my and my parents’ health. Because my brother and sister-in-law fully intend to stay here rent-free because they know they can take advantage of my parents' kindness, we have no choice but to sell this house and find a condo for just the three of us; my parents are in their 60s and can't maintain a house any longer. The problem is that the house is in very bad shape. The shower wall, garage door, and upstairs sink are all broken, the kitchen floor is ripped up, one of the water heaters is broken, the upstairs apartment has knob-and-tube electrical wiring which we were not made aware of on inspection, the roof is leaking, two rooms are completely unfinished, there's exposed wiring in the ceiling in some places, the list goes on. Simply put, without any help, we are fully unable to repair all of this, let alone in time for a sale. Some of it can be done, however, and that's why I'm asking for your help. I genuinely mean it when I say anything will help, and everything will go directly to making this house something close to presentable enough to sell. I want nothing more than for my parents to spend the last 25 years of their life living in comfort, and in a real living room, not spending all of their time in the kitchen because the living room had to be made into my room. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
