Thank you. Betty is an extremely nervous rescue who’s not been with us long, so I’m hoping she continues to warm to the idea as she settles. But if not, she’s perfect as she is and will be loved just as much as a cuddle cat 😊

The signs are there. She wants to be a companion cat, she just doesn’t know how. But she’s slowly learning she can be around me and nothing bad happens 😊

And tonight, she was waiting outside the bathroom door for me when I came out. Still no touching, but she’s been actively seeking me out around the house today, so I’m taking that as a huge win 🐈‍⬛❤️

Yeah, I’m trying to ensure she has all the control in every interaction we have so she feels safe and confident. She makes all the decisions and I don’t pressure her to do anything. It seems to be working. And yes, she’s a certified cutie 🥰
