During a fight to convert some of the conclave members to the Nova’s Might army, Lorenc as well as Nine-Eyes, learn the truth about Pyrashe: she is the daughter of Cinders - blessed with the ability to use magic though she bears a mortal body. Lorenc’s discovery shatters his faith and sends him on

ANYWAY so the story follows lil military cultist Lorenc who, on a mission with his colleague and senior Nine-Eyes the Vigilant, discovers that a Bone Keeper conclave has been hiding Pyrashe, a strange woman who seems to always have a subtle glow in the night.

Cinder Genesis of history and time. Cinder Sophia of the land, air, and sea. Cinder Allmighty of the people.
Cinder Aurora of the flora and fauna. The Martyred Cinder for the cycle of love and sacrifice. Cinder Samsara represents growth, faith, and rebirth. And The Cinder Spent, of death and debt.

So the ratios are:
~2.5k People of Ash or devout of the Cinders
~1.5k Bone Keepers of a few denominations, the aboriginal peoples
~.5k Novaites who follow Som the Pure

Most people (there are only 3k pops in the world) believe in the Cinders but do not believe they ever procreate. And they believe that only prayer and hard work can return magic to the world. So the Novaites are a cult of about 500 ppl; and there is also an aboriginal group who have another belief.

Pyrashe is a dark skinned Desi woman who holds the power of fire in her hands

This is Pyrashe. She is culturally Desi and she is the secret Daughter of Cinder Samsara and Cinder Sophia. In this world the Cinders are godheads. They are imbued with divinity and Pyrashe is the personification of the gift of fire / magic. So as you can see, Som can never be the true herald. But…

Som the Pure, who is the leader of the Cult of Novaites, is a bald man with brown skin and dark red-brown eyes

The Novaites are led by this man, Som the Pure. He saved Lorenc’s life when the latter was a child. Lorenc decided to devote himself to Som because of it and he believes at the beginning of the story that Som is the herald of fire, or he will return magic to the world. This is false!!
