Iām terrible at doing math in my head š¤·
So I built a browser extension that normalizes weight, calculates the price per unit, displays it, and sorts products the right way - by actual unit price, not by package price.
Makes it much easier to compare products and pick the best option.

Life is a battleground. It always has been, and always will be; and if it were not so, existence would come to an end.
of inexorable opposites ā day and night, birth and death, happiness and misery, good and evil. We are not even sure that one will prevail against the other, that good will overcome evil, or joy defeat pain.

Western man, becoming aware of the aggressive will to power of the East, sees himself forced to take extraordinary measures of defense, at the same time as he prides himself on his virtue and good intentions.

I continue to marvel at the clarity Europe had long enjoyed, which has gradually disappeared over the years. Even though the context is slightly different.

I am truly amazed that this is such a common cognitive bias...

are 2 pieces of news.
The good part: Iāve finished the MVP.
The not-so-good part: I need to rewrite the interest calculation logic so itās partially based on days instead of a monthly cycle.
So if you would like to help someone close to you in this way, write down why you would choose this person
Ok, if youāre not into customizing #bearblog, letās talk about a simple project Iām currently working on.
Itās a #frontend -only app that helps teach children (and adults who didnāt get a chance to learn it earlier) why saving money with compound interest is a good idea - in practice.
And there ā¬ļø
I had a similar experience. For my first year at my first job, I just got used to running git commit -am all the time.
Without even thinking about the -a flag, I ended up committing both staged and unstaged changes every single time.
Imagine youāre looking for web development services. You find a developer whose portfolio looks great - thereās even a project similar to yours. But something is missing for the final push.
Would an interactive showcase of created elements help you make the decision?

something more interesting, I guess. You can actually check it under any post - the link in the description, but thereās only one post so far.
The question is: do you want me to write about this transformation, where you can change only the #styles but canāt do anything with the layout?
I know that no one would even find my post without her photo, so here is Her Majesty. But be careful - donāt wake her up š¤«
Now that youāve noticed my existence and my efforts... Iāve been customizing my #bearblog a bit and turned the vote button into ā¬ļø

Ok, it's decided - I am working on a web app, with which you can teach a kid (or a financially illiterate friend) how to save some money. The MVP is ready, and I am already using it to help my friend.
Iāve just found this track, but I can already recommend it.
Itās been a long time since I heard a dubstep track with multiple layers working simultaneously, not just a single main beat with some pitch jumping.

Who also forgets everything related to #windows terminal as soon as they start working with #linux and vice versa?
well, it might be some symptom as well, so don't worry too much about it. I'll just leave here a small reminder for me:

A calico cat is loafing on a chair, while thin rays of sunlight fall on the orange wall behind.
I always stay out of things that are nothing but nonsense.
That's why I'd never have thought that I would have to look for lawyers, file a lawsuit, file appeals...
And now I'm so exhausted that I don't even have the time or energy to write about creating a button for my #bearblog

I want to know which of my ideas you think is most needed, so I created a poll with only four options. And now, with almost no free time, this will help me understand what I should focus on most.

I'm learning how to use #git without any UI and exploring the documentation on git stash. You've probably used
[--staged (-S)] a lot, but here's another handy tool
š²git stash push --keep-index
It throws unstaged changes into the stash so they don't get in the way of working with the ones you need.
Can you recommend a book about autism in adults? Not just memoirs, but something valuable for research.
As you may have noticed, I don't just do programming. Or rather, I do everything, but not just one thing. And one of my passions is psychology. I would like to explore this issue more thoroughly.
I wanted to write a simple page and spent the entire day on it without noticing. So I guess I look like Yoshi-P right now.
On the weekend, I'm going to write a post about customizing the bearblog. But I can't promise anything. Every day, I can't even be sure that I'll see the next morning.
When it comes to sharing experiences, I still prefer the text format. Yes, it's not popular, but that's not a reason to hold back from sharing everything that fascinates me. So I won't.
I felt how everything was changing and captured that moment in the text:
