Overall, I'm having fun going through Tales of Link's story. Zephyr and Kana are my favorites. They are just *chef's kiss* 🤌🏽. The side story points that happens throughout the main story are just so adorable I cant lmao

Zephyr's story could act like memories of the great saviour. like a hint that there is some sort of connection between the two characters but you don't know in what way until the midpoint of the game. The great saviour could snap out from a daze or sleep before the player continues with their story.

I think if Tales of Link were to be remade, I think it'd be cool to see a plot progression be like Tales of Rebirth where it switches between the Great Savior's side & Zephyr's side. I think in a way, itd be better than switching to Zephyr after going through a good chunk of the great savior's story

I do wonder if, even though the Luminaria's team was more receptive to feedback, that Crestoria shut-down, the reception on tales mobile games, and competing with Rays and Asteria at that time, took a toll on the team itself. It would be nice to hear about the challenges the team had with the game.

I want to see where the Adventurers team goes and how they become involved in the grand conflict between the Federation and the Empire. I also wanted to know what happens to Leo and Hugo because dam that finale was not enough 🥲

that's what surprised me about Luminaria. The amount of future things already planned out. I did wish the story was given a second chance and I still hope that one day, a rerelease of Luminaria comes back with everything that was promised for it (cough minus the monetization & being mobile)

For Crestoria, they had a lot of issues in the beginning from what I have been looking around online & a lot of things that weren't addressed even after the game kept going. I guess maybe if both games kept going down those tracks, Japanese exclusivity wouldn't have changed anything? not sure 🤔

introductory in feel and scope for the character you are playing as. The monetization aspect of Luminaria wasn't anything to write home about either iirc. Unless you wanted the MA of a specific character, there wasn't anything to spend money on.

I get that with Luminaria. Even though I didn't mind the gameplay & the way the story was episodic, I get that for players that were jumping into the game wanting to play as their favorite characters, having to wait for the next chapter does get tedious, especially if the first episodes were just-

From my understanding, day 1 glitches & monetization/payment issues were a huge dealbreaker for a lot of Japanese players for these games, but I wonder if another part of it was because of the localization of Tales mobile since views on Tales mobile & mobile games as a whole isn't good in the west 🤔

I'm wondering if someone can put more clarity on this.

Putting aside Day 1 issues & Glitches, if Tales games like Crestoria & Luminaria were to have been Japanese exclusives instead of global, do you think we'd have seen the longevity like with Asteria & Rays, or were they futile from the get-go?

I think I always wondered if those kids were content on being pushed into grades with students way older than them just because their parents deemed it a good choice. I never found out in the end, but that kind of made Jude's age not as surprising in the end.

it reminds me of those kids that I knew back in elementary for a year or two & suddenly found out that they jumped a few years ahead of everyone else through those reach ahead programs cuz they had amazing grades or they were geniuses according to society & parents.

it's interesting to see people surprised that Jude's age is 15 in Xillia. At hindsight, it seems odd, but I feel as though his age and where he is at is not that surprising given what he has gone through to get there.

The peach pie was good. I liked it as well. It is definitely different from the one I made with the recipe on the Dramatic DVD of ToR. This one was thinner in the filling and not as sweet as the ToR recipe. I think between the two, it comes from preference & how much time you want to put to the pie.
