I need a game changer episode that’s just four contestants tasked with playing Magic the Gathering but, in the spirit of the show, they do not know any of the rules and nobody tells them.

User dratsab huffman asks the question: To amuse myself i researched revacholian nationalism as well as measure head's race theories etc etc and focused my character on "traditionalism". Anyway, ive noticed that if i ever click dialogue options that are in tune with my character's political compass, i lose morale. Whats the point of having this as a mechanic if its going to be so detrimental and feels like the character doesnt believe he actually is this or something... is there anyway to overcome that kind of morale loss?
Recalcitrant Jester replies: Being a fascist is a deeply demoralizing experience. You have to not only radically alter your worldview to make reality fit into your unhinged schema, but that worldview is predicated on the notion that the weakest, most unworthy degenerate worms on the planet are somehow overpowering and humiliating you on a moment-by-moment basis. In mechanical terms too, the lowered morale also reduces your volition score—the more you indulge in your delusions, the less you are able to exercise self-control and self-awareness. The point of fascism being mechanically detrimental—the ludonarrative theme—is that fascism is an unequivocally self-destructive ideology, the practice of which only serves to nurture that self-destructive urge and turn it outward. It's not like Dark Side points in KotOR where you can access cool new abilities and get to enjoy being such a nasty lil rascal; you are not supposed to enjoy being a fascist in Disco Elysium. Fascism is the act of self-deception in service of making your own life more painful, solely for the payoff of making life more painful for people you dislike.

I’m so intrigued by the dispositions, really interested in seeing the full list of objectives.
For the record I am extremely pro octopus.

Now I’ll never get to think about but ultimately not go on it!

If you’re some combination of a moba/board game/miniatures fan, I highly recommend Onward. I can’t praise enough its approach to design, streamlining and bottling the essence of moba gameplay in many clever ways.
It’s very systems heavy at first but it flows well once you go through it
Fought our first monster in Wilderfeast today. Really fun Monster Hunter rpg!

Yeah! The only mass effect podcast started in the year of our lord 2026
More episodes coming… when we get around to it!
You should come on @loreleywrites.bsky.social and my mass effect podcast sometime
Trick question they wouldn’t call it Macbeth, next
The Beatles stole music from all sorts of places, that’s what makes them the quintessential British band
I don’t expect everyone to love the Beatles but I don’t trust people who hate the Beatles.
This is one of my favorite lines from Doctor Who and sadly this is the only version of it I could find online.
Disappointed I can’t get a loaf of bread at the theater concession before this Les Mis performance
Squeaked into top 8 at our internal TMNT tournament with this WB medium pile. I played against four Agent Bishop, but zero Sally Pride so I guess I should count my blessings!
Spike Rogue I can kinda understand, but these two are clearly in the adjective camp lol
I want to be clear that the uber tunnel does have one other stop further away. I know because I once waited there for an hour for a car to show up and it never did.
One of my old professors did all of the playtesting and balancing on Halo 1
I would buy some of these!
It was just a great mix of silliness and actual coming of age stuff that was perfect for the target demo.
I was obsessed with Codename Kids Next Door as a kid. Fun show.
While that would be cool, I feel like a series without the core lovable cast would struggle. It’s not like Fallout where the world is so wide that there’s no one central plot.
But I’ve enjoyed stuff like Scott Pilgrim Takes Off where they’re able to tell a new story with the same cast and setup
My crackpot idea that I’d pitch if I were running this show would be to kill commander Shepard in episode 1, and then have Ashley and Kaiden have to split up and do the rest of the mission themselves.
Anyway back to me having zero expectations.
