Tiny Fables

With summer holiday coming up soon, this will be the first adventure I run for the kids during their time off. So excited to have them explore The Wandering Cottage! It’s my favorite location in Tiny Fables. @josiahmoore.bsky.social thank you!

Open pages that reveal a two column layout on the left, with an illustration of mice on a hardback book that's placed on some flowers. One mouse is writing with a quill pen, one is turning a leaf, one is striking an instrument, one is aiming with a bow and arrow, and one is casting a spell on a broom. Behind it all is a startled chicken on one side, and an interested fox on the other. The right side of the page features some bullet points and a table. There are item card sheets in the top left and the bottom right corners of the photo.

Ready for magical Mausritter adventures set in an old-growth forest? Echoing the themes of classic folklore and fairy-tales, @josiahmoore.bsky.social's riso-printed Tiny Fables confronts players with the narrow distinction between warmth and darkness, cruelty and whimsy, and danger versus reward.

The Tiny Fables game supplement, a zine-sized booklet with clean, simple, hand-drawn animals surrounded by flowers and trees. Game accessories surround the book, including a stack of maps, a postcard, a bunch of equipment cards, blank character sheets, and a journal, all in the same simple, straightforward pleasing art style.
