Digital fan comic. Kazuma and Ryuunosuke sit outside Ryuu's house eating onigiri together. Ryuu happily munches (sfx: chew chew) as Kazuma looks off to the side with a question mark above his head. Text box in the top middle: "*Naruhodo's Childhood Home"

Next panel has us peering over Kazuma's shoulder to see what he was looking at. It is a support beam with small horizontal notches etched onto them. Kazuma asks, "What's that?" Ryuu responses, "Oh. My parents liked to keep track of my height as a kid."

Ryuu then slouches and sighs, "Man, I had this huge growth spurt. It made me think I was gonna be super tall." Boxes label the two as Ryuu being 168cm (5'6") and Kazuma as 174cm (5'9"). Kazuma finishes chewing nonchalant his food as Ryuu talks and he continues to study the beam. Until, his eyes bulge in intense surprise.
