Yes! I've never gotten the hype around matcha and was thinking that yeah I'll give it a try but will propably leave it at that but sweet treats with matcha and matcha drinks were actually really really good so I ended up eating lots of them.

Why I'm saying I don't know if it's just me is because finns are known to be a lot more quiet and we don't really do small talk etc. But i feel like even finns still feel easily awkward if not talking so I think maybe it's a me thing?
I don't know if this is just a me thing but I like being around people, like just existing in the same space, without talking. Most of the time I don't feel awkward like that even with new people, I just like the idea that some is there I guess.
Safely landed back to Finland. The trip was amazing but I'm also so glad to be almost home ❤️

Oh and ive gotten a lot of cooking equipment and spices etc to take home. I can't wait to get home and put them all into good use.
I do have to say that the mirror next to a bathtub is a bit of a weird design choice in our hotel
Kyoto has been treating me nicely so far. I have eaten lots of delicious food, so many small treats and just enjoying a bit less of a hectic atmosphere.
Last night in Tokyo, tomorrow morning we will move on to Kyoto. Last day we spent in the National Museum, visited Kawagoe, ate in an izakaya and sang karaoke.
I mean... i ate it so. Not sure if that means that I did or that I didn't 🤔
Going on my first solo adventure in Tokyo
Im soo tired after today but once again I had such a great day. We wore kimono and took lots of pictures and after that we went to an amazing beef restaurant. It was the best beef I've had for sure and I'm still so full hours after.
This is my favourite so far but I'm not sure if it actually counts as #päivänsuomi since it actually is from Finland. It was in an antique market we visited and I kinda wanted to buy it because it's so horrible 🫣
I traveled to Japan and ended up buying finnish design
Mostly I'm just curious to why there are so many videos saying every place is full and impossible to enjoy properly when it's clearly not true at all.
These are all quick snapshots but mostly to show that yes, there are people but it's def not crowded.
Ueno park today had the most people so far but there was a real festival feeling, the weather was really nice and it was a Friday night. And even there, these are the pics I took without trying to not have people in them.
