I started paying for the @theguardian.com because I think they do brilliant journalism, but I still get pop-ups on every page asking me to pay them more and it’s driving me absolutely nuts. tbh it’s making me want to cancel.

Saw someone post this on a retro group and the nostalgia whiplash it gave me threw me into a bookcase.

Just a little update on this: I got such a surprising response! Some really great chats with people inside the industry, and a handful of production companies actually reaching out to hear the idea. I’m working it into a proper pitch document first, and then I’ll start pitching properly 💫
