I did a google and found some adult book coloring books on B&N, quite a few YA's too. Now I need to find one based on a book that I enjoyed. 🖍️ #booksky
Network shows seem to be more of the 'beauty over acting skill' type. I've noticed from black and white movies (going *way* back) that everyone is insanely good, even the small roles. And a lot of them can sing and/or dance too.
Book quote: "I did nothing of the sort. That would be an impolite invasion of privacy," the man stated flatly as he picked a bit of lint from my sleeve, tasted it, and tucked it somewhere inside his baggy coat. From Jackaby by William Ritter
Need a brighter read? 🌞 I rec Jackaby by William Ritter. Abigail Rook is in need of a job in 1890's England; R.F. Jackaby, an investigator of the unexplained, is in need of an assistant after his last one was turned into a duck. Bookshop ebook affiliate link: bookshop.org/a/109872/978...

TV poster for R.J. Decker. R.J. holding a camera in a lounge chair near the bottom of a pool, floating amongst police crime scene items, a plastic pink flamingo, and an alligator.
Currently Watching: R.J. Decker on ABC. Anyone else enjoying this show? I'm a sucker for PI's but I don't think it's just that. Love the circular connection he has with his ex and her wife, and wife being a cop. Humor, and good acting all around. 👍👍 from me. #tvsky

Yay, not one of the genres I read but that's promising! I need to google this.
I want this for adult books too. Do they have this for adult books? #booksky
Cover of Michael Shermer’s book CONSPIRACY, in which the word is spelled out as jumbled letters connected by thin red lines against a white background, evoking notes and clippings strung together on a board
i always take a moment to appreciate good book cover design
Has anyone watched this? I'm on episode 3 and can already tell I'm watching the rest, and S2. Patrick Dempsey is really good in this role. #tvsky
A book cover. 3 different sized books stacked atop each other, two white and one red in the middle, seen from above, the book title and author name are spread across the 3 books. A red keyhole is in the center of the top book, and a small drizzle of blood is coming down along the left side of the cover.
Beautiful book cover release day! Evelyn Clarke = V.E. Schwab and Cat Clarke. Six struggling writers are invited to a reclusive bestselling author's island to write the ending of his latest book - and arrive to find that he's dead. Bookshop ebook affiliate link: bookshop.org/a/109872/978...

I want to go to there. 👀
A beautiful website - everything you need on the home page (and it's not too long), matching fun aesthetics but still simple and 'clean', and the footer is *chef's kiss*. #webdesign #sewing
Scarring the children.
I don't know why this gal doesn't have more subscribers/views. Standup book comedian describes her almost perfectly. Except that she's sitting down. Don't drink a beverage whilst watching her vids, might be some spurting. FYI if you don't like swearing you won't like her channel. #booksky
Tis the time of year when it's warming up and you want to emerge from the cave. Need some fresh sunscreen - or want to switch to non-toxic? LASPA suncsreens have squeaky clean and organic ingredients. I want the SPF50 Ultra Sunscreen Stick. Save $10 when you shop thru the link. #sustainable #eco
Need a podcast for the weekend? I already love her YouTube channel but didn't realize she has an ongoing podcast elsewhere (nothing new on YT for a while). This interview is of herself and her co-writer, their pen name is Evelyn Clarke, about their new book coming out next week! #booksky #writersky
I love Liselle's YouTube channel - she talks about writing mostly, not in a word count way but a plot-centered way. She's a traditionally published author with multiple YA books and is writing adult now too. She often has book hauls etc, and this vid was chock-full of books. #writersky #booksky
Yay! I think I'll just watch the show rather than read the book - now looking forward to it. Been disappointed by some previous Peacock shows but this one might be more up my alley.
I just saw an interview with the author and thought the book sounded interesting. And I get Peacock for free through Instacart. Sounds like it has Hitchhiker's Guide/Douglas Adams vibes?
A correction: I think Sesame Street was gone for a bit? But I just googled and it's on PBS and Netflix. So these on Tubi are just for the vintage and 'the best of'.
😆 I don't remember that part. Goodness, they're nitpicking. I think all (?) of Adams' books are kid friendly. I might repost your reply without any context. 😄
I think Blake's daughter is a big part of what endeared Blake to us watchers.
I need someone to explain why The Hitchhiker's Guide... is a banned book. 🤪
👋🏻 Loved Remington Steele when I was a kid, love it now. The 80's formed my innate love of PI's I think.
Yes, more girl power without the Duke I think, for some reason - well, just becuz she's more solo and has to be headstrong with Blake at the beginning. It's an example of how to salvage a show when a major star leaves.
Not quite my usual topic but it is a TV series, and I'd recently been thinking about how current kiddies are growing up without Sesame Street, so Tubi to the rescue! Some of the episodes are from the 1960's, which would be interesting/fun to watch just for that vintageness. Coming April 1st. #tvsky
Cover for novel 84K, with the title in large white font that is three dimensional and standing at different angles. Black background with a blue butterfly in the center of the title, blue dust falling from it.
"The penalty for Dani Cumali's murder: $84,000. These days, there's no need to go to prison - provided that you can afford to pay the penalty for the crime you've committed. If you're rich enough, you can get away with murder." Bookshop ebook affiliate link:

Sunday is the traditional Golden Girls day for all who celebrate. ☺️
Watched some of A Murder At The End Of The World with Clive Owen (and some other people 🤷) but it has yet to have any Clive so I'm not sure I'm going to keep watching it.
