I’ll hold ‘em.
You fold ‘em.
Hello!
That’s not Alcoholics Anonymous I should point out for the non uk people…. Automotive Association…. In case of breakdowns. And by breakdowns I mean of the vehicular variety ….and by variety I mean ‘kind of’ not assorted entertainment acts and by acts I mean….
Wish I had a recovery crew. ….Not sure an AA membership counts.
The full name is Tiramisusan.
I was suggesting the arsehole was the only bit left by other scavengers NOT I would choose to start there on a whole dingo! 😂
I would never. 😂
It’s a hard life in the outback.
…..I told ‘em to “rack orf!”
“Sometimes you need to just chew through a dingos arsehole”. I might have gone too far with that phrase. I’m getting looks from the family.
Me? Just wandering around the house saying ‘alluvial gold’ in an Aussie accent.
Rejected ideas are also in abundance. The Bee and the Butterfly: a story of how self destructive jealousy can be ….not really suitable for a children’s book. Clamlet: Hamlet set in a seafood restaurant on the Cornish coast. I could go on.
I’ve enough ideas to keep me going to the grave and beyond’s so no big disappointment but thats how it goes sometimes.
Had an amazing dream and woke up at 3am last night, reached for my pad and pencil thinking what a great book it would make. Read it back this morning and realised it was basically The Bridge by Iain Banks….

By Alan Moore’s beard, it’s the weekend again! Where do the sands of time go. Presumably the Sahara. Time to kick back a bit and read a book once the shopping and chores are done. Hope you all have a good one.
‘And nobody knew why the talk was so long, or why they were there or if there would be cake.’
I have to wonder why Channel4 news showed a word cloud of Melania’s speech without giving the viewer enough time to read the word-cloud unless it was just so they could associate “word cloud” with Melania’s speech. Just say it was a nothing burger of a speech and show an empty bap.
“Far better is our art [i.e. poetry] than the strength of men and horses! These are but thoughtless judgements, nor is it fitting to set strength before goodly art.” Greek philosopher Xenophanes
Not sure if this will enlighten me any further but it’s recommended reading and highly reguarded. Six Not-So-Easy Pieces by Richard P. Feynman
My Inventions and Other Writings by Nikola Tesla. I’ve been meaning to read this since reading The Prestige.
I am now reading Hands of Time: A watchmakers History of Time by Rebecca Struthers while taking a short break from Zero. I thought it would pair well like stilton and port or Morecambe and Wise.
Diane Morgan is a national treasure.
The slice of quiche I was saving has mysteriously disappeared from the fridge. #Flantasmagoric
Same but with ragù.
Beautifully put and really enjoyed reading all the positive comments to this.
