“Sometimes you need to just chew through a dingos arsehole”. I might have gone too far with that phrase. I’m getting looks from the family.

Rejected ideas are also in abundance. The Bee and the Butterfly: a story of how self destructive jealousy can be ….not really suitable for a children’s book. Clamlet: Hamlet set in a seafood restaurant on the Cornish coast. I could go on.

Had an amazing dream and woke up at 3am last night, reached for my pad and pencil thinking what a great book it would make. Read it back this morning and realised it was basically The Bridge by Iain Banks….

In the Waterstones cafe, I have a voucher to spend. There’s a guy opposite mouthing the words as he reads and next to him is a man typing on his phone whilst sticking his tongue out slightly and waggling it as he wrestles with his keypad.

By Alan Moore’s beard, it’s the weekend again! Where do the sands of time go. Presumably the Sahara. Time to kick back a bit and read a book once the shopping and chores are done. Hope you all have a good one.

I have to wonder why Channel4 news showed a word cloud of Melania’s speech without giving the viewer enough time to read the word-cloud unless it was just so they could associate “word cloud” with Melania’s speech. Just say it was a nothing burger of a speech and show an empty bap.

I am now reading Hands of Time: A watchmakers History of Time by Rebecca Struthers while taking a short break from Zero. I thought it would pair well like stilton and port or Morecambe and Wise.
