It's Tuesday, so the markets are open.

That means today is a "Peace Day" at the White House: a day in which our sociopathic president pretends to be reasonable.

But actually he's deranged, and the markets should be going haywire. But their wishcasting—and greed—knows no bounds.

Cheesesteak from tourists traps like Pat's and Geno's.
Best cheesesteaks are at corner stores in South Philly.

The President spent more on bombs in ONE WEEK of his war with Iran than we spend in an entire YEAR to help parents afford child care.

Trump & RFK Jr. are asking to spend $500B more for war—but they won't increase funding for child care by a cent.

Right? Just another thing people should not judge other people about.
People have reasons they do what they do. You don't need to micromanage other people's personal choices. Sheesh.

Cmon. Sluggo is always working and getting snookered out of his hard earned by Nancy. She has some nerve calling him lazy.

She doesn't want Nancy to end up dependent on some man.

Sigh. No woman says that.
I don't wanna argue, but take a breath and listen to yourself. U are literally being one of those men who says "not all men- not me-not any men I know"for the purpose of shutting up women who are trying hard to educate you about what it is and was like to be a woman.

Congress has the power to pass gun safety reforms that are supported by broad swaths of the population. Let’s not waste a single minute. We can act right now to prevent future tragedies. And we must defeat any Republican who stands in the way of keeping our kids safe. (2/2)

Well then, I have no idea what your point was. You literally said things used to be better for women and then talked about the fact that there was no daycare.
I clearly missed something.
No worries.
There is grass for me to touch. Caio!

I was born in 1966 and my mom worked. We had babysitters and nursery school.
My sons who are good and respect women went to daycare at 6 weeks old so I could build a successful career.
Working moms are not a bad thing. That is not the problem.

was at Penn State 84-89. My experience is anecdotal, but I knew a lot of young women who were sexually assaulted at parties & frat houses who were terrified to come forward.
Before rape shield laws they told us if we tried to get changes pressed, everything we ever did would be on display in court.

You think most women staying home made things better?
It certainly made women more dependent on men.

Daycare made it so my children, who have great manners now as young men, could see the capability and power of their successful mom and could look for mates with the same strength and goodness.

I was in high school same time as you and college while you were in the navy- I can tell you there was lots of raping and no one believed the women.

I kind of feel like it's important to define what exactly "lecturing" means and why, if at all, it is so bad a thing for a pope to do.

2 days ago 0 0 1 0
A lecture is a formal oral presentation delivered by an instructor or expert to an audience, typically for educational instruction or to present information on a specific topic.

I'm pretty sure the pope's whole job could be described as lecturing. Not a bad thing. The whole point of having a pope really.

In a sane administration, the FBI Director doesn’t go on the morning news to prove he’s not a drunk, the Defense Secretary doesn’t quote Tarantino to prove he’s a man of God, and the President doesn’t take multiple cognitive exams to prove he’s not insane.
