I saw Medhi say many times how terrible Trump would be. That’s why it’s extraordinary that he is even worse. Kinda like that was the point of the article

I guess next time around we’ll all ask you what the correct level of fear we should have regarding our political opponents and calibrate from there
I think maybe the people criticizing her as she was running were hoping she’d change her path so that she’d be a better candidate and leader. This is just going to happen, and it should! Criticism is how we get better, if we can take it in
Do you think that there might be a positive outcome from criticizing candidates you think would be better choices than their opponents?

Hope Mike White is getting residuals from this. Weird to have characters from The Emoji Movie as your mascots all these years later but I guess someone has to do it
Live shot of my phone breaking because this trailer is too rad
Sully is a great representation of how standard government oversight (a hearing about what happened during a huge plane crash) is vilified as a personal attack against an unimpeachable hero. Conservative persecution politics in the form of Eastwood’s “they railroaded him” narrative
It’s like 1/3rd lore. Elijah Wood plays Lore, the Loreman
You really gotta save your challenges for the egregious shit the Thunder do as the game goes on. Can’t challenge small stuff early in case you lose and are stuck watching the bullshit calls
I always like the Oscars, even when they suck (and they were very good this year). It’s nice to watch a thing that celebrates art and entertainment, even more so in a world that seems to want to kill the parts of you that think and enjoy things

It’s pretty good! And very good special effects
An important lesson for modern stars is how hot he is specifically because he looks a bit dirty, tired, and very sweaty in the movie
You understand this is incoherent, correct?
You are an excellent exemplar of the point you’re responding to
THREAD: I got laid off from NYMag/Vulture after 14 years. The family lost 75% of income + medical. Now mzs.press bookstore, once a side project. is do-or-die for Judith & I. I feel weird telling you this because others are doing much worse. But if you could like or share this, we'd be so grateful!
Wish I could help with this but I don’t pick the headlines, that’s an editor’s job. I also don’t write the story because I’m not that Alex Thompson
Absolutely!
I had a very similar experience. Finished my PhD in movies just under a year and a half ago, had found it somewhat difficult to find the magic in the movies towards the end of that and afterwards. And then The Secret Agent totally enthralled me. A very special movie
You’ll believe a man can fly
Give me CivilWarLand in Bad Decline
I swear every play was pretty. On the defensive end too
My team’s stars play offense AND defense. Sucks to have that cone out there for 50% of possessions
Everyone needs to stop watching baseball and start watching basketball, a sport with no current controversies or recent AI use
My town council just voted to turn off the Flock cameras they had installed a few years ago! Local politics!
