Andy Warhol - DACS Andy Warhol was born in Pittsburgh, USA and studied at the Carnegie Institute of Technology.As a painter, filmmaker and author he was a principal figure of the Pop Art movement. In the 1960s he experimented with images from popular culture, using everyday consumer objects as subjects. He rapidly became internationally famous, exhibiting his work throughout the world in the 1970s and 1980s.Today he remains an influential figure in modern art and culture, and his work is exhibited in leading galleries worldwide.

Andy Warhol’s 'Eggs' (1982) began as playful Easter gifts shared among family and friends, later evolving into a series of large‑scale works. Created in the last decade of his career, the paintings show Warhol exploring abstraction beyond the Pop Art imagery he was best known for.
