Thank you! He loves the drawings. He's done his own versions to decorate his 'Loki box' filled with objects inspired by the book (Hammer, crisps, etc.) He doesn't enjoy many books, so we were delighted to discover this series.

Just emailed the first chapter of my YA WIP to my new writing group. It's always nerve-wracking to open yourself up to feedback on something new, and this is *NEW*: new genre, new audience and a new focus on plot.

Just researching the surname Cunliffe for a WIP. Apparently it was originally a compound of 'c*nt' and 'cliff', meaning 'a slope with a slit in it'.

Pale Fire is my favourite Nabokov. Quite apart from the game elements, the poem is genuinely impressive on its own terms. Pnin didn't leave much of an impression on me.

I finished a first draft of a YA novel last week. Thinking about starting a new project for #NaNoWriMo before editing the completed draft it so I can go back to it with fresh eyes in a month.

Is that an incredibly stupid idea? Does anyone else work on multiple projects at once?
