Bell initially began his collegiate career at Wisconsin, where he was not as productive. Sometimes a change of scenery (and level of competition) helps

If Bell lands in the third round of the NFL draft, fantasy managers should feel a bit more comfortable drafting this smaller-school standout.

Day 15 of "Prospect a Day!"

Skyler Bell, WR, UConn, broke out in a huge way in 2025. 101 catches for almost 1300 yards is production that's hard to ignore. Bell showcased playmaking ability whenever he touched the ball. Which, to UConns credit, they made sure he did. A lot.

However, fantasy mangers should exercise a little bit of caution with this combine riser. Lance didn't do much route running outside of go-routes and posts. Potentially an NFL coach can help him become a more well-rounded receiver. If not, Lance may see limited usage and limited viability in fantasy

Day 14 of "Prospect a Day!"

There is one player that could emerge as the next elite deep threat in the NFL, and that is NDSU's Bryce Lance. His tape is jammed-packed with clips of him torching defenders for a huge gain. After testing well at the combine, it became apparent why he was open so often

As a 5th year man at Baylor he came into his own in the past two years as he put up over 1500 yards and 19 TDs. He didn't test at the combine so we don't have a numerical sense of his athleticism, but his tape certainly shows a player who can make a play when needed

Day 13 of "Prospect a Day!"

Josh Cameron is the WR1 out of Baylor, and while he's likely to end up as a Day 3 pick, there's a lot to like in his game. He plays big with strong hands and toughness that teams are sure to like.

Brazzell spent two years at Tulane before transferring to Tennessee, where he "broke out" in his second year with 700 yards and 5 TDs. Again, it wasn't until his second year with the Vols that we saw Brazzell emerge as the WR1. Fingers crossed this isn't another product of a whacky TENN offense.

Day 12 of "Prospect a Day"! (Totally on time and not a day late)

Say what you want about Tennessee wide receivers of the past, but Chris Brazzell is a potential trend breaker. Brazzell had a productive year thanks to his elite size and speed (6'4'', 4.37 40). His 9 TDs were tied for 1st in the SEC

Slowly but surely, however, the Bell hype-train is gaining speed once again. His final season is peppered with huge games that reflect his upside once he returns from his injury. Bell will need to head to a franchise that has a little bit of patience has he ramps up after an offseason of rehab

Day 11 of "Prospect a Day"!

Never too late to talk about rookies, and today we have a slow riser in Chris Bell, WR, Louisville. Bell was a hot name during the season as a potential first-rounder. However, an ACL tear near the end of the season sank his Day 1 value

He had solid production in his final year, and those who watched Georgia's games will know he possesses that "clutch" factor. The NFL, as it stands, believes he can be an impact player at the jump. Fantasy players are a little more skeptical, potentially worried about a less-than-ideal landing spot

Day 10 (on time!) of "Prospect a Day"!

Today (for real) we have the screen-god himself, Georgia's Zachariah Branch. While incredibly fast (4.35 40), just over 50% of his targets were behind the LOS. He's 5'9'', which may give folks pause about how effective this archetype can be for fantasy

Caldwell played just one year in Cincinnati, spending most of his career at Lindenwood. It's surprising to see such low receiving numbers for a player who looks like they should bully their way into the stat sheet. Such a small sample size makes it hard to tell if it's him or the offensive scheme

Day 9* of "Prospect a Day"!

*Post is late again because work gets in the way

Today's (yesterday's) player is a low-production player who possesses insane athleticism. That player is WR, Jeff Caldwell, from Cincinnati. Caldwell is a big dude who runs fast - which we always love in fantasy

While Lane had fewer TDs in 2025 than 2024 (12 down to 4), he did earn more targets, catch more passes and tallied more yards last year than his sophomore season. Lane's strong combine results boosted his draft stock, and is now a player that could sneak into your flex spot with the right team.

Day 8 of "Prospect a Day"!

Ja'Kobi Lane, WR, USC, is a solid player who had the tough luck to have to earn targets away from the eventual Biletnikoff winner. Standing 6'4'' 200lbs, Lane has the prototypical outside receiver size that NFL teams are sure to get excited about

At the moment, mock drafters believe in the hype as he's going as early as the third round in the consensus big board per Mock Draft Database. But will the NFL see him the same as fantasy players do? We will have to wait till April 23rd to find the answer

Day 7* of "Prospect a Day"!

*all caught up now!

WR Ted Hurst, Georgia State, is a player who found success despite his team struggling all season long. Hurst was a target hog with 124 targets across 12 games (5th most per PFF). At 6'3'' 206, Hurst has the prototypical size for an NFL receiver

The only worry some may have is his size. Smaller receivers have found success, and there should be plenty of work for someone productive every year he's been healthy. With plenty of WR-needy teams out there, Williams could easily find himself suiting up day 1 for the NFL and some dynasty rosters.

We enter the WR portion with Clemson WR, Antonio Williams

After transferring to Kentucky, McGowan faced stout SEC defenses on an underwhelming Kentucky offense. He reached pay dirt 12 times in his final season, good for 4th in the conference. He's a long shot for fantasy relevance, but a good landing spot could make all the difference

Day 5* of "Prospect a Day"!

*This is late because the SMM had a busy weekend, apologies!

Seth McGowan, RB, Kentucky, is the next man up for the rookie review. He's an older prospect who was forced away from football due to an off-field incident. He returned in 2024, where he impressed at NMSU

After seeing action in just 5 games in 2025, Ott seemed to be an afterthought rather than a priority for the NFL. However, after some impressive work at the Senior Bowl and solid combine testing, Ott is back on the radar for both the NFL and fantasy owners

Up next is the bounce-back candidate, Jaydn Ott, RB, Oklahoma

Ott burst out onto the collegiate scene with a dominant first two seasons at CAL. But after transferring to OU, things fell apart

Claiborne came close to back-to-back 1k rushing seasons between 24 and 25. He did, however, reach 10 TDs in both years for a total of 21. Claiborne's 4.37 speed makes him a threat to score any time he has the ball. If teams can look past his size, Claiborne could be a surprise hit late in the draft.

Day 3 of "Prospect a Day"!

Up next is an interesting prospect out of Wake Forest, RB, Demond Claiborne.

Claiborne didn't see a full workload until his Junior year, but when he was given the keys, he came through, rushing for over 1,000 yards and catching 23 passes for 254 yards.

Allen's current projected draft capital isn't as solid as we'd like to see from a fantasy lens, but things can change quickly on draft day. The power runner will look to find a spot in the NFL where he can routinely take those early down reps.

Day 2 of "Prospect a Day"!

Today, we have the first half of the PSU tandem, RB Kaytron Allen

Allen was a four-year player at Penn State who emerged as the leading rusher in his final collegiate season. 1,303 yards was good enough for 12th in the FBS, and his 15 touchdowns landed him 14th overall

Mike Washington, with projected NFL draft capital of late 2nd to early 3rd

and an early rookie draft ADP of a late first or early 2nd

Mike Washington, with projected NFL draft capital of late 2nd to early 3rd and an early rookie draft ADP of a late first or early 2nd

Washington shocked watchers at the combine with an impressive 4.33 40 time. With his bigger frame (6', 223 lbs) and that explosive speed, Washington is one of the biggest risers at the position.

All eyes will be on Washington's landing spot, as he could be an immediate producer in dynasty
