Mr Brightside on the radio during the school run. It would have been rude not to crank up the volume and sing LOUDLY at the traffic lights. Love how the 11yo was totally up for it.
Lovely client testimonial showing how, in a trusted 1-1 dynamic, we are able to see what wasn't always visible to us.

โค๏ธ Sending love. We scattered our hound's ashes round the boundary at the cricket club where my son plays as she loved it there. I still feel her presence when we watch him play :)
'Are you not having your usual Appletiser, Vivi?' (to the 11-year-old)
V: 'No, I'm off the fizz for the moment.'
'You & me both, gal.'
And thank you too for all of your thoughtful & considered shares :)

And those apparent deficits are only perceived that way due to a pervasive & prescriptive idea of how people 'should' show up. Understanding & listening enables people to be as they are. And that is beautiful.
Just so you know, wearing layers, including a jumper & coat, while competing in the Olympic sport of shopping packing by the radiators in Aldi is not to be recommended.
I went to the library to get a book on Pavlov's dog and Schrodinger's cat.
The librarian said that she thought it rang a bell but wasn't sure if it was there or not!
A chapter is closing. After 4,500 school runs across 12 consecutive years of primary school.
My son sits his GCSEs in a few wks and my daughter's in the last term of Y6.
I feel sad, excited, tired, emotional and much more.
But she's ready & I think I am too :)

Oh goodness, I remember my home ec (now food tech) basket...and the clarinet & left on the train a number of times!!
Sounds similar...all the travelling was tiring but tbh it helped to make me independent & there just wasn't an option to have a lift to school :)
Walked the dog near a high school this morning & noticed how the majority of people arrived by car. Obviously not everyone can walk but it seemed a lot. Cue my 'olden days' story to my kids of how I walked, got a train (with pull down windows) then walked again each way to school from 11yo *eyeroll
That sounds great :)
Thanks for sharing your concerns - people's experiences are all different so it may not present in that way for you. Best wishes.
Oh sorry - that really wasn't the intention. Your feedback is very much appreciated :)
All healthy conversations :)
I see your point, but alas I don't think it's always the case that work cultures enable psychological safety to have these chats.
Really appreciate your share.
Thanks Beth
Thanks Hazel, that's good to hear :)
Q: If you're in the peri/menopausal window, how comfortable are you talking about personal issues eg brain fog, imposter syndrome, anxiety & intense/heavy periods at work?
This is a reality for so many, yet often we carry these things silently & there's an immense cost.
Let me know your thoughts..
Let's say hello to Tuesday with a Rumi quote (because I can't get enough of them)
Thanks so much for your feedback. I can imagine being in the engineering sector could be tough in this context.
I would LOVE your comments/feedback on how comfortable you are re chatting in the workplace about peri/menopause issues - esp the more private/sensitive ones?
Thank you in advance!

So I wore a (new) top last week back-to-front until 4pm when I realised the buttons were supposed to be down the BACK. That pretty much sums it up. #veryperi
And you too, Charlie :)
