Knuckles was always my favorite Sonic characters, and I'm so glad that this drawing came out as good as it did!

This was one of the first drawings I was really proud of. I still took the construction layer from a preexisting pose, but the design for her and the background was all me and made me feel like an artist for once. This is the Fire Mage.

This was my second official digital art piece I drew. For this one, the last, and the next one, I took a pose reference and used it as the bottom layer to make a skeletal structure, but after the next one, I weened off of that and started just eyeing references from my phone. As I drew😅

This year, after a whole year of not drawing anything due to finishing school and dealing with heavy depression and anxiety, I decided to try digital art. I had a tablet I had bought years ago to try it then, but it was hard, so I stuck to pencil and paper until recently.

I wish they would use her more in games. I played her all the time in Sonic Rush back in the day.

I think being a perfectionist is such a hindrance to doing anything creative. When I draw, or when I write, and have days where it just doesn't feel good or work out, I just want to quit, even if I'm probably improving exponentially over time. It's... Rough, but I gotta keep trying, right?
