I don’t programme this festival Lee but as someone who’s been to events often the 90 minutes is there to give wiggle room between events so people don’t have to rush off. Rarely does an event go for more than 70/75 but it’s nice to feel there’s room to expand if you need it

So very happy to have met another writer from Ballymena. Jonathan Sung’s first picture book Moon Moon Can’t Sleep is beautiful and it’s out now. The Ballymena literary renaissance is upon us folks.

Goodness but I love that bit at the end of an Agatha Christie where Poirot gathers everyone in the library and spends an inordinate amount of time telling each person why they are a deplorable human being. Extremely open to a real life version of this set up, ideally in a billiards room.
