I’m very excited about the indie publishing model that @trailsmag.net is pursuing, and even more stoked to contribute a short review of the best trail snacks I’ve eaten lately. The pinni and mango lassi leather from Panj River are fueling my trail runs all summer 🏔️
Based on previous covers we’ve run, we’re not especially interested in images from Colorado or the PNW but would welcome shots from the Southeast, Midwest, Northern Rockies, Canada, or Appalachian Mountains (outside of the Northeast), though those are not the only geographic options.
We’re really interested in covers that evoke early season backpacking and springtime in the backcountry. An ultralight or thru-hiking connection would be great fits for this particular issue.
