That's all to say, I don't know what the fix is here besides, in my opinion, driving positive masculinity (like having male teachers that are positive role models for the youths) or telling them it's actually cool to be nurturing and caring (like being a nurse).

But I can see how over time that's probably worsened to a degree, especially with the proliferation of manosphere type things. And to a degree I can see how this might even influence hiring practices, where men might be hired less for roles that society dreams up as "not a man's job".

Maybe I was an odd case, but I had so many male teachers growing up. Which for a (at the time) boy was kind of rad because I had a lot of positive male role models in my life. And some of them were "masculine" men and some were just nerdy math and English dudes.
