Many of us have already been through a “dark night of the soul” in our own individual awakening journeys, and now we are experiencing it as a collective.
We are the generations who have chosen to be present for the great awakening of the entity we call “humanity”.

To “be the light” is not some egotistical notion that I am here to enlighten others. The phrase serves as a personal reminder that it is my job to inspire myself.

For each of us, we carry the trauma of childhood wounding that has caused us to believe lies about who we are. However, to do our real work asks us to put aside these stories of unworthiness and stand in the worthiness we already are.

Each of us has come into this lifetime endowed with a particular set of strengths, gifts, and talents. Part of our inspired work is to discover these capacities, claim them as ours, and then offer them in service to others.

Our work is a vehicle through which our soul self can expand through the birthing of new ideas.
While that might feel like a burdensome undertaking for us mere humans, it is actually the opposite. To consciously be participating in the unfolding of a new reality is our greatest joy.

Our inspired work is the journey to remembering who we really are so that we can fall in love with ourselves – perhaps even for the very first time.

No need to jump out of airplanes or spin the roulette wheel to feel fully alive.
We can simply connect to the source of our inspiration and flow that energy through our being. That’s what inspired work allows us to do.
(Though feel free to do any of the above if it’s joyful to you.)

What matters to me is that we:
• Live from the heart
• Embrace our roles as creators
• Know that our existence matters
• Show up for ourselves and each other
• Offer our work in service
• Build a new paradigm that supports our joyous evolutionary journey
• Care about what happens to humanity
If you’re an adventurous spirit or creative soul who wants to serve humanity with heart, you’re my people.

What is changing in your work “reality”?
In this coming age, we will discover that the qualities that make us human are also the attributes that make us useful to others.

Instead of work being a place where we have to suppress our nature, it becomes a sanctum where we are free to embody our humanity.
It has been ingrained within us that we are reliant upon jobs for our survival. This has created a distortion in our relationship with energy, making us believe we are dependent upon something outside of ourselves to have our needs met.
What would you say is the new paradigm version of this?
As we continue to usher in this new era, in regard to our work, many of us are still straddling two paradigms – one foot dragging along in the old and the other leaping into the new.
Where on the spectrum is your work?

As we expand our awareness of who we are as beings, we are growing in our understanding of the true nature of energy and how we affect it to create our experience of reality.
Our relationship with energy is becoming more transparent. Each of us has access to a source of energy within.
It’s been a year. Many have chosen to withdraw their focus from the outer world and free fall into the abyss of their inner work.

Ultimately, your inspired work is a gift from yourself to yourself. It is the self-acknowledgement that your existence matters and it is the process of integrating all of who you are into a real-world creation that honours your unique expression as a human being.
Your inspired work is you unfiltered, raw, real, out in the world. This is vulnerable.
The key is to be so aligned with what you are doing and so inspired by the reasons you are doing it that it doesn’t matter what others might think – it only matters you are doing it.
The days of toiling away at less-than-desirable tasks all the while sacrificing our precious resources, such as our energy and time, for the sake of “earning a living” are over.
Instead, it is the dawning of a new era in work – an era where inspiration, creativity, and abundance reign supreme.
What will emerge from the ashes is the truth of who you’ve always been, ready to do your work in the world in full capacity.

“And, uh, joy, perhaps?” he said.
He gave a long list about what he sought in his work – fulfillment, purpose, creativity, gifts, but with his last point, he said it with a tone that sounded like it was too much to ask for.
Joy is not too much to ask for. It is the foundation of inspired work.
