And Thomas did doubt whether the quality of that H was as good as the stuff he had in Amsterdam, but Jesus said unto him that it was good. And Thomas did sample the H, and lo, truly it was as good as Jesus did say.

When I was a kid in the 70's, my grandma bought a box of loose comics at a garage sale, so us grandkids (mostly me) could read them when we came over. There was a Batman 234 in there, and this Neal Adams / Nick Giordano Two-Face close-up is what made me want to learn to draw.
author Hailey Piper looking at an advance reader copy of her upcoming novel She Isn't Herself Tonight. The cover art by Caroline Johnson shows a woman reflected multiple times, all looking back at the author.
I realize I never shared the ARC arrival for SHE ISN'T HERSELF TONIGHT on here 🤩
Rabbit has been getting abducted by aliens since childhood. When she finally tells her boyfriend, he evicts her, and her life spirals out of control.

Bleachers? They could've just rolled out one half full rack of those shitty folding chairs.
The Hobbit, almost certainly.
It's a really fucking good book.
If it's not the best of those 1950's monster movies then I don't know what is.
Still working on my gouache stuff. This is from a random pic I found on Flickr.
New horror flick from the director of Train to Busan?
My body is ready.
FBI agent Denise played by David Duchovny and Dale Cooper, played by Kyle Maclachlan, Twin Peaks 1990
David Duchovny played a transgender woman, Denise, on Twin Peaks in 1990 and when greeting Cooper, the show's protagonist, she says, "I prefer Denise, if you don't mind" and Cooper responds with "OK" and her identity is settled within a couple seconds and was a non-issue, 36 years ago.
Mixed feelings about Noah Hawley remaking Demian Rugna's Terrified. I mean, Gore Verbinski's The Ring was good, arguably better than the original, so there's always that chance lightning could strike again, maybe?
I've been watching those as they release, with horror and fascination. Really well done.
My art, a humanist figure with a wolf head
Comic page, my art. A women/wolf shapeshifter. The text reads ‘only change will save us’
My art from 2020, a women/wolf
I think this might be a new(ish) OC! Eve first appeared in my work around 2020 and at first I thought she could be a form of Lilith or Cassiopeia but she feels different. The second daughter of the wolves. I want to explore who she is and what she’s doing here
Lalla Ward plays a vampire in it, which I approve of.
Blew the dust off my gouache this week. Trying to paint more opaquely & directly right off the bat instead of sneaking up on the colors w/ transparent washes. It's harder but much faster when it works!
(It's on Tubi! It's a great flick. Peter O'Toole is fantastic.)
Would it be in poor taste to rewatch The Ruling Class (1972) tomorrow? Because I haven't seen it in awhile and it's a hoot.
Lexi Alexander understood the assignment, 100%.
A woman with dark hair and light skin wearing a leather jacket over a pinkish plaid shirt holds a paperback of Sleep Alone. She’s proud of this book.
Self promo time! Sorry? Maybe not?Saturday evening crowd, please look at my rock n roll body horror queer succubi novella SLEEP ALONE, with bonus short story “With Animals”. Wherever books are sold or you can order it directly from the publisher: shortwavepublishing.com/catalog/slee...
We just watched The Bone Temple and god DAMN that was good. If they do make a 3rd (they'd better) and Danny Boyle isn't able to direct (he might not be able to schedule it) then they had damn well better let Nia DaCosta take the reins again, because she killed it. And Garland never misses. NEVER.
If you play the 'spot Steve Holland' drinking game while browsing old book and magazine covers you can pretty easily end up in the hospital after your liver screams and dies.
I really want this book about him, though.
I'm making my wife a tres leches cake for her birthday tomorrow. I usually only ever bake bread, so, wish me luck.
Sketchbooking! I hesitate to say this but it looks like Spring out. Watching the spaceship head to the Moon(more than halfway there!)Drinking coffee and listening to a brand new Spring playlist which is mostly Geese and Hip Hop.Thinking lots about the book I’m writing.Getting to a weird creepy part.
character bust of a dnd character, an elven woman with gray long hair, sallow pale skin and a hint of a smile. Her monk robes seem to be made from layered white cloth and bandages, and she carries a heavy metal staff with a crescent moon ornament. acrylic painting with colored pencil details
Just your friendly neighborhood elf (... also Monk of the Long Death) 🤍
folk horror line art of four women in flowing floaty dresses, dancing with flower crowns on their heads and blood on their faces, neck and hands. the background is pink with a pale green moon and smears of red and white floating spores - an air of a witch cult about it

Sorry, I was also watching a movie on Shudder, and apparently only one person can watch at a time now or the little hamster running in his wheel to power it gets tired and can't keep up. 🐹
Just finished Bodycam on Shudder. Creepy as hell, and the leads both nail it: Sean Rogerson always delivers the goods, and I hope Jaime Callica does more of these instead of made for TV Christmas movies. (He's done SO MANY.) I guess some folks didn't like the ending? 🤷 I liked it.
"Several crew also confirmed there were no meetings with department heads or writer-director Kyle Rankin ahead of complex stunts or the use of prop firearms"
Look, I know it's Good Friday and all, but, JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
