If I don't make something out of myself as a singer, it's done.

Volodymyr Zelensky's Oval Office visit ended early when Donald Trump and JD Vance began angrily yelling at him. Here's why women like Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton are too emotional to be president.

Sometimes, I think my life's been lame.
Then I remember I've been a pinup model in magazines and on calendars.
I've performed in front of crowds upwards of 1000 people.
I've had the experience of people wanting autographs, merch, photos with me.
So, nah, my life's been mad cool.

Me: I am going to practice and study and write every day and work my ass off so I can become a musician. My chronic pain, constant vertigo, or any other medical issues aren't going to stop me. Nothing is going to get in my way.

I can't say that I've found the most success in my life when I was following my dreams

But what I can say is that I've experienced the biggest losses and failures in my life when I was the most disconnected from them.

At 36 years old, I'm just an antiquated woman anyway. Never had kids, never married, never even engaged, I'm just worn down. Who would want to date that?

I know we're supposed to be like "A.I. is terrible and hurting the environment," but I got to hear words that I wrote as song lyrics back in high school brought to life as a gorgeous dark pop song for the first time ever because of it, and it made me really emotional.

And this isn't even going into the "wellness farms." You know, the work camps.

So much has been alarming enough under this regime. Personally, my life is also a dumpster fire that I spend every waking hour of my life trying to extinguish. Now I feel I have to prepare for the fact I may not survive.

Stopping their use can ruin decades of progress. Stopping without tapering under the guidance of professionals can cause exasperation of original symptoms like fatigue, hopelessness, and s*ici*e. Not only is that putting people's in danger, but it will also prevent the pursuit of political protest.

My story is not unique. In 2024, aboutย 43%ย of U.S. adults were taking medication for mental health. Making these life-changing medications harder to access is a bigger health risk than the meds themselves.

I was finally able to keep a job I really enjoyed until I got injured. I improved my relationship with my family. I sustained a really wonderful relationship. I no longer felt constantly drained of energy. I was so motivated and driven to make up for all the time I had lost to my mental health.

SSRIs saved my life. Zoloft granted me the opportunity to be the person I always knew was trapped behind what felt like a brick wall. Wellbutrin and Cymbalta have helped me keep my head above water.

I've gone through crisis centers, partial hospitalization, IOP, group therapy, and individual therapy. DBT workbook exercises, enough journals to fill a public library. Exercises, practiced meditation, daily gratitude, LOA, and other coping skills. I held off on medication as long as possible.

I live with scars scattered across my body. I've ruined friendships, couldn't sustain romance, emotionally broke my family down. I've been looked at as a monster. I've scared people. I've scared myself. In another timeline, I no longer exist in this world because unaliving attempts were successful

Chronic depression. General and Social Anxiety. Borderline personality disorder. C-PTSD. Panic attacks. Developed an eating disorder during the pandemic. Realized in my 30s that I most likely have ADHD. Maybe there's some ASD sprinkled in there as well.
