I am in LOVE with this! It's such a simple, common scene that isn't about looking pretty or posed. It's just life, one of those simple beautiful moments that you aren't even aware is happening. I was just struck, and I love it man. It's 20/10!!

The second panel shows Legatus Gaius kneeling before the throne which appears to be occupied by the late Emperor Solus. Gaius is also doing the imperial salute. The last panel is larger than the other two combined and shows a dying Diamond Weapon projecting the spirit of Alfonse Baelsar. Gaius is on his knees in despair, Heirsbane dropped lifelessly from his hand as he basks in the light of his deceased ward. The shadow cast by Diamond weapon is a dark, bloody red color. There is blue handwritten text that is a quote from Alfonse in the Sorrow of Werlyt questline. It reads, "I am proud to call myself your son."
