Second half was very good though. Thragg having a modicum of depth and love for his people is interesting. I love how weird they're getting with their impact frames too, the red skull when Thragg was hit is not like anything I've seen before

The last episode made it substantially worse by actually showing the purge and using imagery that felt borderline identical to that in the episode about the Scourge Virus. Especially given that this was like four episodes ago

Invincible has been surprisingly competent lately. I still really hate the Scourge Virus for having absolutely no thematic relevance when there's already the purge, an entirely separate storyline about the population being cut in half that plays off of Viltrum's cruelty
